Khamma Ghani, we are performing Ghoomar. Ghoomar is a traditional folk dance of Rajasthan.
The word ghoomna describes the twirling movement of the dancers and is the basis of the word ghoomar. Ghoomar is often performed on special occasions, such as at weddings, festivals, and religious occasions which sometimes lasts for hours. Rajasthan is known for its folk dance and folk musicians castes like Bhopa, Sapera, Jogi, Langas, and Manganiars. This song is performed by well-known Rajasthani musicians #Langas and #Manganiars. Initially, the dance was performed by the Rajasthani tribe Bhil to worship Goddess Saraswati which was later accepted by other Rajasthani communities and became a well-known Dance form in the World.
