The jams on this may have been the best ever. Addisons bass sound was epic. Nic had that Live at Pompeii thing going on in the second half. Josh more than killed it. Great playing by all, need an album of this.
My new favorite thing is to jam with these vids; it's never outrageous bps, but always sonically interesting, spacious for soloing, & often clever. Fun stuff.
the way nick came up with the narrative for the jams was honestly amazing, i was so invested by the end! you really should release the jams on spotify or something!!
It’s only January and you’ve landed the flag for most interesting, entertaining and fun guitar channel on the web. The whole vibe you’ve created is unique, well done!
Under the influence of Covid and a couple of Gin and Tonics I'd fallen asleep watching TPS and my dreams were taken in a bizarre and surreal, winding adventure eventually waking me into the middle of this video. Immediatley rewound and watched from the beginning. One of the most amazing trips i've been on due to a TH-cam video (and maybe the G&Ts) The music, cammeraderie and humour totally owned me. Instantly subscribed. Love you guys! So damn cool.
These jams were killer and let me say: we need these recorded into the JHS Moonscape Trex EP. I would buy it. These are the types of sounds I’ve been chasing!
Spending my NYE 2022 watching the best pedals of 2020 and jamming along with you on my Special. Well, I _was_ jamming. It's now after 8:30pm and, well, I really don't need another letter from building management. Happy New Year, gang.
Enjoyed the episode a lot guys . A beam of light(ness) in these dark times. Favorite jam : "Laser Exchange" . Spaced out soundscapes. Nick couldn't be more right .. it was an emergency landing in a moon canyon ! All the best for 2021 to the whole team . Thanks again for the great content .
Superdome Destruction, is where I left for a while... I was still listening, ... just.. Amazing jam! I have to replay, after an intermission.., and get lost in that one again, but with the tubes warm, and guitar plugged in. :)
Hilarious ! GREAT SHOW and really cool pedals. cold and rainy day here in northern California watch'n TH-cam vid's and yours just popped up. funny and really creative on the spot jams. keep'm com'n
I hope someone animates this narrative to create a music video for these jams which you guys MUST edit into a cohesive soundscape odyssey...amazing. Loved every minute of this. Pedal Heaven OR ‘Pevan’.
I would totally buy the album of the jams! That's awesome stuff. Give it to me with the narrative, too. I love it. Man, I'm a fan of the blues, roots rock, Americana. Elmore James, Hound Dog Taylor, J. B. Hutto, Robert Nighthawk, Muddy Waters, Mississippi Fred McDowell--these are my guitar heroes. Yet I love what you laid down here. Give it to me! Give it all to me! Inject it directly into my veins! I'm totally and utterly hooked.
Took me 3 days to watch this! 🤣 got there in the end. You guys are so funny and entertaining. Keep up the great vids. Happy new year from Royal Wootton Bassett, England. 🤟🏻🎸 Stratsrule!
I bought my first jhs pedal today... it's a morning glory... you owe me a set of earnie ball super slinky 9s and I'll keep you informed how all this marrige thing works out from now on, maybe you'll here from my lawyer too in the near future because, guess what, I can't stop playing. Ok this comment is wasting to much time, I gotta go back playing my guitar... you know where to find me... ok seriously now, my god what a pedal, I love it so much guys I almost cried when I found my kind of setting on it! Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙇♂️
Appreciate Nick's shoutout of the Keeley Caverns. I got one on my board this year and I love it. Set the blend high and put it on Shimmer and let the pedal guide you.
I love the storyline you gave to these jams. Sometimes music is really heightened by the context it's provided in. Want to see the "Discovery" style visual album of this.
I love my Polaron Phase Shifter. I saw it lurking!, The presets make it easy to get that sound again. It's tough to dial in but yay! - presets, ,kinda. Truly sounds amazing in analog glory. Envelope stuff is killer. I have that EQ2 as well, it's really great if you need this kinda thing, I run flute and guitars through my rig and it's awesome to switch on different EQ for the flute or a guitar solo. Sorry I missed the live stream. I was watching the thing that was "not to be televised". Love the way you invent the spot, close to my heart, imaginative music with great timing!- Hey Josh!, Build us an optical compressor with a foot switched dry blend! Put a little grainy gain on tap with that! Trustme, it's what we want. LOL!
I spotted that Air Trash on the table early on and thought it might not get played 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 :D Nick when you described the man in white I immediately pictured Wayne Coyne
I hear you on USPS. My Morning Glory from Sweetwater took almost 3 weeks to CA. No Christmas break fun for me, just got it a couple days ago and love it.
36:10..I can FINALLY hear Addy playing the bass through my 65" Vizio. Get THAT Mel Scacher/Gedde Lee/Chris Squire "I'm HERE playing BASS" in the mix tone!!!!
Please please please put all the jam sections together and release it as an album entitled, “Moonacracy.” I will pay to have it. Get it on Spotify and I will download it.
All the jams and the stories/banter and so fantastic. You could definitely have a show on ESPN 42. The 2nd jam had all the magic of early 2000's The Church. They are my favorite band and you boys need to talk about them more, but whatever. You are the best. Make a proper album. This stuff is so great. Get lyrics together for these wonderful Nick visions. Then, make great, trippy videos "Dave TV" style were you can have your story going - and break it up with your fantastic humor and self deprecating style.
All fantastic pedals, but cannot believe how great that Sundance Special sounds! I know its boosting with the Wampler, but man. That's a very Gilmourish sound. Then, the spectrum: giddy up, space cowboys! That boss pedal on the base is the most Reznor thing I have heard since his last project. That's just fantastic. I love you crazy kids!
I’m late to this. Just a heads up: if you want to learn the Chase Bliss CXM78, just learn a Lexicon 224. There are plenty of plugin options, I love the UAD one. Much love for the show, dudes!
I just want to say I care little for pedals, I’m broke, so why covet them ya know. But the jams are awesome it takes me back to my youth, playing in bands. I’m the same age as Josh and his influences are some of mine as well. Thanks for the good live music. You should do episodes with just jams.
The black hole symmetry is indeed awesome and more people should know about it/buy it. Describing it as a shoegaze machine reminded me of the existence of Keeley’s Loomer - another box of huge gazey goodness.
Got my first JHS pedal (Double Barrel) from PedalPawn and then got their Fuzz and Texan Twang, WOW, they are EPIC! Great guys to deal with like Josh says, thanks!
Don't care what anyone says, the best fuzz pedal I've ever heard is Scott's Legends of Fuzz: JHS Supreme Fuzz Pedal. That mid range scoop sounds f'n amazing. I have the Earthquaker Hoof Fuzz and it is amazing, but the Supreme is on my must get for 2021 list.
Record Time is amazing, I've discovered such talented artists like S. Carey and Tom Misch just to name a few, thanks to you ! Oh btw, I want that EHX shirt so bad... :p
I dig what your saying about the new pedals and their high price, I really like the new stuff and would have an Automatone and a Triplegraph if I could afford them, and a few others over the $300 mark if I could. But as a lot of your videos touch on, and you also created, there are some great pedals under $100 out there. Get some weird, cheap stuff if that's all you can afford. Have fun and be creative! That black hole disintegration looks sick too.
Nick is totally destined to be a great record producer. He’s the George Martin + Alan Parsons to the JHS house band. _Musical_ _Architect_ . You are super talented and creative, Mr. Nick!
What I see coming is a full size computer pedal board that is all in one. Is has plug-ins for all the sounds and it can be controlled remotely by another computer via app. Because it works by plug-ins anyone can make the plug-ins and you get them from a centralized plug-in store online. It will come preloaded with plenty of plug-ins. But you can buy the other ones you want as you go.
The CXM is really good. Also. What's the difference between the chase bliss/Benson and the Benson amps preamp pedal as far as tone goes..? Looking at buying one (Benson preamp)
When I get a tracking date from USPS, I always add a day or two to what it's says , not reliable, have a UPS right around the corner that I ship pedals with for $10-15 ...or at least the last time I did less than a year ago, (I collect far more than sell) very dependable
"Ok, we're in the Moon." - my favorite quote by Nick.
Praise him, please.
Were not worthy
No. He's a good, solid drummer, but should have some English lessons. "IN" the moon? Eh? Like, like, like that's not like what you say, like!
@@Ndlanding OK we are IN the MOON
The jams on this may have been the best ever. Addisons bass sound was epic. Nic had that Live at Pompeii thing going on in the second half. Josh more than killed it. Great playing by all, need an album of this.

You guys are so awesome!! Thanks a lot for the shoutouts ❤️🎛🎛
It’s only January and you’ve landed the flag for most interesting, entertaining and fun guitar channel on the web. The whole vibe you’ve created is unique, well done!
This is the kind of content I live for. Please never stop making these amazing 2-hour-long showcase and jam extravaganzas
Glad that Addison's bass is getting a little more airtime. That bass synth thing he was doing was killer!
Sometimes I feel like no one could possibly love pedals more than me and then I see Josh, and I am grateful.
Punisher is an amazing album. Seeing Phoebe go from Stranger in the Alps to Boygenius to BOCC to Punisher is insane. So much well deserved praise.
That’s probably the greatest JHS video. Ever.
Under the influence of Covid and a couple of Gin and Tonics I'd fallen asleep watching TPS and my dreams were taken in a bizarre and surreal, winding adventure eventually waking me into the middle of this video. Immediatley rewound and watched from the beginning.
One of the most amazing trips i've been on due to a TH-cam video (and maybe the G&Ts)
The music, cammeraderie and humour totally owned me.
Instantly subscribed. Love you guys! So damn cool.
Merci beaucoup !
Please do a “There’ll be an episode about that” jingle.
Dude. DOOOOOD. Starting @ 1:36 y'all changed my life! Awesome.
These videos do a great job keeping the audio level. I feel like I have to adjust the volume constantly on most other shows.
These jams were killer and let me say: we need these recorded into the JHS Moonscape Trex EP. I would buy it. These are the types of sounds I’ve been chasing!
I’ve got money for that EP, too!
Dude. Shut up and take my money. Josh, make this happen. Like, put the Sovtek episode on hold, and get this EP going.
Pedals + Jams + Narrative!. This was what I needed today, great episode!
Spending my NYE 2022 watching the best pedals of 2020 and jamming along with you on my Special. Well, I _was_ jamming. It's now after 8:30pm and, well, I really don't need another letter from building management. Happy New Year, gang.
The jams were so good, & I love Nick’s imaginative stories. Take care guys!
Proud to be part of this
Don’t think I’ve ever loved a show more than I do the JHS Show. Your jams are always so damn good.
Wooow! so glad to see the BHS and The Ranch in the show ! ♥ thanks & love from France !
The jams in this episode are so good!!
This show is the best JHS show ever! The narrative and the music is so freaking awesome! Holy shit!
Way Huge Atreides is already my favorite pedal of 2021, and it was your video that sold me on it!
Nice!
My favourite episode yet. Your jams are fabulous and change the way that I think about guitar
The jam with the Disintegrator, Colorsound fuzz and the Chase Bliss was cool, the guitar tone was sick AF.
The start of the jam @36 minutes genuinely put a smile on my face
This was such a great episode. Everything about it is perfect.
I hope someone animates this narrative to create a music video for these jams which you guys MUST edit into a cohesive soundscape odyssey...amazing. Loved every minute of this. Pedal Heaven OR ‘Pevan’.
After four sittings, I finally got through the whole video! Good times. Thanks guys.
“Punisher”! Amazing album!! Thanks for opening my ears to it. And your jams today were the best ever, so good.
Awesome job guys. From now on all 2 hours shows must have a narrative

Really enjoying the channel, love the jams, great info and history as well!

This was an awesome episode as always, the jams were really great!

Apart from all the other superb stuff, that was happening here:
Great "Record Time" recommendations! Thank you very much!
I spotted that Air Trash on the table early on and thought it might not get played
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 :D

Late to the party I know... but I really loved the "Lasers" jam and the sound from that Red pedal.
Awsome 🔥🔥🔥 we need to see this movie , the script and score are great 👍
Nick’s story is fantastic ✨
I like how Nick's moon story at 51:44 is just turning into the plight of the native ewoks against the empire on the sanctuary moon of Endor XD
And to top off all the Star Wars references, you throw in the Willhelm scream lol
This show just gives me such a home warming good vibe love it hope to see more
Pulp'nPeel is my favorite compressor. Should be number 1 on the list. Thanks, Josh...
Nick has been reading about the Hero's Journey (or Dan Harmon's Story Circle).
You guys should release these jams (and accompanying narative) as an ep
honestly im just waiting for nick's flash fiction career to blow up
The Two Notes box sounds great! I just bought one, and can't wait to use it!
Loved all the jams on this. Very Hawkwind sounding.
Josh just don't forget: I have had your Pulp n Peel on for the past 10 years. And I am not even exaggerating.
Excited to see Pettyjohn, look forward to the episode. Would be great to see some Champion Leccy love also, they make amazing stuff.
I love the JHS Chorus also! I was trying it and the Julia out at local store and decided to go with the 3 series bc of the simplicity.
MCRib, with their hit song, ‘I’m Not Lovin’ It (I Promise)’

Informative, entertaining, and inspiring. If I could, I'd hit the Like button twice. Thanks!
great show!
Got my first JHS pedal (Double Barrel) from PedalPawn and then got their Fuzz and Texan Twang, WOW, they are EPIC! Great guys to deal with like Josh says, thanks!
16:26 @rorykehoe
1:09:45 Jam is 🤯
I can speak on the pedal pawn fuzz and Texan twang they are amazing and worth a spot on any board
That was fun. Looking forward to listening to those albums.
Please review the Flamma line of pedals. I have a couple and am very impressed at the performance-to-cost ratio: very high.
Laser Exchange is awesome! I can't believe that's just a jam!
You really should put those jams all together and bung them on Spotify.
Bung all things
Bung bung bung bung bung.
Bungholio

Interested when you call out keys do you use the Nashville number system to know what chords or notes?
The score is a score. This is an inspiring exercise.👏🤘
“They know we’re changing the game” - that got me 😂
Laser exchange was a bop. It was super fun
BOSS 20 Series video!
46:44 🎵 Hot La Croix tone! Hot La Croix! 🎵
Cool Video... sure wish I had 2 hours to watch all of it!
man the jams are fucking killer this episode guys! great job
I love the Jive so much that I got the Double Jive. Amazing pedal 🎛🎶
Dear JHS guy, you play guitar beautifully.
The CXM is really good. Also. What's the difference between the chase bliss/Benson and the Benson amps preamp pedal as far as tone goes..? Looking at buying one (Benson preamp)

Yeah im going to need those jams on spotify asap this is a direct order from your president Jadongus Modongus
I went to the Soundstone website & when I found out it was $35 I bought it immediately. Who wouldn't? Besides someone without money of course.
