My fall writing project is writing a new campaign setting for my D&D party. Having this Readathon would add to the vibes! I'm already trying to figure out what/who I'm playing (Being a forever DM, having a character to play is precious).
@marahsoore6452 lol I feel that last bit. I started DMing right off the bat bc my brother was a forever DM and that's primarily how I played until one of my players got back into DMing.

@NovelSarahndipity Oh, I'm ABSOLUTELY creating a BG3 w my Fablen character. (Also fantastic way to get a character picture without using any gAI machines.)
This is exciting!! Wasn’t sure I wanted to tackle another readathon on top of the harvest, but how can I pass it up now that I know you considered that. AND I can personalize my tbr using a character rather than just my guild?? Heck yes. 🥳
Since both of the readathons where my Mallory Ravenmount character was developing are doing round 2 this month, she's gonna get bored next month. Looks like fun. :)
and, since I am focusing on mystery genre next month, apparently she's actually a changeling. INteresting. She was wielding a quarterstaff, but when she woke up September 1st she had been robbed and had amnesia. So, she's cadged a bow from somewhere. She does have magic, so she is most likely a mage, or at least a mage-in-training.
This sounds so fun! I think I'm going to do this as my first Readathon in my life! 😊 Are there going to be graphics we can use for our journals? If not, I'll design my own ... but I sure hope so!
