I get emotional just to realize how wonderful she is and how difficult it was when Allen died. She is terrific!

She is the most lovely person in the world! EVER! I cried so hard when she told that she was really talking to Allen, when she was doing the Rose's birthday scene. Love from Denmark :*

I loved this, it would be almost impossible for them to have a show like this today. Celebrities are so guarded now. Times are definately different.

Betty white had gotten the role as rose on golden girls just 4 years after. Her reel life husband allen ludden had passed away. That is why when she is talking to charlie she is really talking to her late husband allen ludden whom she lost just 4 years before she got the role as rose on the golden girls. And allen was the love of her life.

Carol burnette produced this obviously scripted show where Betty says she'd like Carol on the show? Hehe Carol was angling to get on the golden girls! I'm glad it didn't work. Carol is funny but her humor isn't sophisticated enough for GG. She would have been a disaster on a show like this.
But I tell u, this show is everything I hate about Hollywood. I don't have the stomach for the BS. BUT BOY, BETTY SURE DOES!
I think That's why bea didn't like her. It's too bad. I love comedic acting but not in this world. I'd do it in a world of equality but not in this manipulative capitalist world where stars shine so brightly on their thrones as the lesser people marvel their phony smiles.
I just Don't have the stomach for this kind of bs

Being sincere about likes and dislikes does get one friends, sorry to break it to you. And Carol Burnett would have been awful on GG; it's true.
