@@TRalstoontake what he says with a grain of salt. Sure hes high elo, but hes not a draven main and built path is also dependent on a lot of minute details. For example if he were to face a trist+naut lane going dirk would be preferable since there isnt a lot of poke and you potentially would be the extra dmg cause of all in
I find it fun to grind high Elo off of videos, but don't find it to record it. I also play worse as a result of having to do even watered down commentary, and my videos would lose a lot of educational value by having to focus more on the play instead of the educating. For someone who has built their channel on educational content, that kind of series is not a good fit.
Is it a viable strat to “counter Draven” by literally just not fighting him at lane at all? I get shit on for not having lane proi and thus we lose drags but I don’t know how else to play that
Yes, ideally you both want to be able to out-range him, and have disengage to prevent being all-in'd by him. Caitlyn is perfect because she both has the highest innate AA range to harass him without being in range of him, and E to disengage if he does try to force something. Good luck "not fighting" Draven on Aphelios however.
