the parents well the mom was a horrible actress there was no real emo by that i mean its just like she was just repeating the lines she was giving not acting becuase acting requires any and all emosion to give life to the story and make people that the chacters they are playing are real people
Actually Elizabeth Hess (who played Janet) had quite the theater background before Clarissa. She was TOLD to tone it down because MELISSA/CLARISSA was the focus of the show, not her parents
