    I really love the vertical aspect to this city to work within the space but also layer the scene! Best of luck with its development and keep it up!

    This all looks fantastic, the only suggestion I have is that the corner garage and the boutique hotel have a strange gap in between, maybe that could be solved by switching them around?

    Great stuff! I love all the videos from folks with their huge LEGO cities but I'm like you, I only have a small area to work with so it's awesome to see other ideas and inspirations for LEGO cities with a small footprint. I also think with a smaller city, there's more opportunity for changes throughout the year. I love the video and the tutorial for the raised levels!

      shot on iPhone in 4k! we're experimenting with how to film in a lightweight way so we can still thoroughly enjoy our LEGO, but still have high production standards to show you as much detail as possible. thanks for watching!

    Hey guys, how're you affixing the modular buildings to your MILS plates? I'm at a loss for the moment as to how to proceed with affixing my own modulars to MILS plates in my city given that the standard flexible baseplates can't be attached to anything.

    • @eggybricks
      @eggybricks  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question! It's a bit of a pain - you have to move your whole modular to be attached to the studs on the top of the MILS plate, instead of being attached to the studs of the flexible baseplate. (That is, if your modular is already fully built on its original baseplate, you'll have to take the baseplate off.)
      Bevins Bricks has a nice tutorial on it here: th-cam.com/video/3Qyo1yEawmQ/w-d-xo.html (our MILS plates are basically the same as his, except that we try to use larger plates for the top layer so we can use fewer supporting bricks).
      Since we know we want everything on MILS now, we build our modulars directly on the MILS plate from the start - just have to be careful to make sure the parts of the MILS plate that are exposed (at the end of the build) match the color of the original baseplate.
