As a Cuban American, living in PA but with a lot of family in Miami, I must admit it's been awhile since I've visited and after watching your video I need to get myself down there! You did a great job, you should be proud, you covered all the bases, and certainly made me very hungry while you were at it! LOL!. Glad you had a great experience in Little Havana and you enjoyed the culture and especially the food! Likewise I've been to India, (Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad) and also enjoyed your culture very much! One of my best friends, who lives in California is from India, we were colleagues at work for many years, and to this day we keep in-touch and remain good friends. Again, great video, thanks for doing it, I enjoyed it very much!
Thank you so much! It means a lot when the appreciation comes from you. Keeps us motivated to do more videos! It was very easy to do this video. Cuban food is so amazing and we loved every bite of it. We kinda miss it sometimes. Hopefully our next Cuban meal is in Cuba itself! Thank you so much again for your kind words.
Beautiful beautiful video!!! Absolutely love the bgm, the vibrant colors and even the tiniest details that u guys never seem to miss! And also do take us through quirky accommodations ( cuz ur Bali video was very helpful) that u come across and wall art and also buildings of notable importance! Keep rocking Ruchi n Avi!!! Love ya both❤️
Hi! Thank you so much for the sweet words! We loved Little Havana and so excited that you enjoyed it too.. We are making loads of videos across Latin America, stay tuned! Love u 2
I thought you did a great job! Buen hecho! Youre right about America. Everyone here either came for a better life, or are descendants of those that did. Gracias por este video hermana.
WOW that was very respectful and not diving to deep into the political aspect of the situation wee Cuban has gone through over the years. I live a few minutes away from Calle Ocho. and what crack me up was the Cuban Gulum Jab comment. Which because I went to pause this video and heat one of them Indian Gulum Jab I have at my house then return to watch your video. My father is friend with that owner who own the Cigar business there in Little Havana, and is very interesting to see someone from another race checking out the Little Havana and speaking for our culture. it was very nice. Got one of Trinidad and Tabago? This way I can show it to my wife she from Trini, anywho Many love and respect. thank you.
Hahah we're cracking up at you eating Gulab Jamun and even heating it up!!!??? I would just eat it cold straight from the fridge but having it hot is the authentic way :) Thank you so much for watching and sharing your stories. We really hope to go to Trinidad and Tabago some day soon. Ask your wife to wait for our videos haha!
Second Breakfast can you do a BIG LARGE CIGAR THAT WONT LIGHTUP AT ALL FOR YOU BECAUSE YOUR LIGHTER WONT WORK AT ALL FOR YOU and your upset and disappointed about it?
BTW when you go to Cuba, Hotel International, Custom built cars, and Varadero Beach. both are epic! but when it comes down to food there eh.... maybe some very weird sea food pizza? that the only part i didn't have a good time, because their government keep their people to starve or to have whatever they have left. their government are very rough on people, and also if your in the hotel room keep the political opinion out of it, because there are audio camera to spy on their guest to either kick them out, or make them pay a Fee. there is a reason why there was a lot Cuban here in Miami and other places other than being stuck in a prison island where the people are not allow to go to certain beaches, or run their own business, and how hard people work for Tips. They literally live off tips, not paycheck since the Government takes 90% of their checks is very rough there and some family I have are still stuck there struggling as well. Just some safety tips. Also don't praise the government and people like Che and all of that, they used to put political prison off to the beach and use firing squad on the innocents for having a different political opinion. Their basically the Hitler version to our Society. But their government and Hollywood make it seem like they "did the right thing". Anyways sorry to bring that up but maybe because is the things I saw there compare to over here. It just sad.
Thanks a lot for your detailed comments! We really appreciate it. We heard from Cuban Americans that life is very hard for them in Cuba. Hopefully they can preserve the culture in Little Havana.
