I know Jason wrote this...but really, dude...this song BELONGS to Steven Pasquale. Whenever I hear someone else sing it, I just feel sad. Sorry, Jason. You are a musical genius, however.

It's a live performance while he's on the piano, so he's not giving it nearly his all. I think it's an amazing song he made, so in a sense it's never gonna be anyone else but his, and Steven and all others after him are just privileged to get to interpret it.

that said, Steven gave it life the best and most consistently. But I'm sure Jason would've killed it too if he recorded it in a studio. this is after all a composer who's known for writing male songs for his own voice.
