    You should make a book of how to make the paper characters you've been making and a book how to make our own paper action figures

    Wow... I am just so amazed. I know it’s common for kids to be really creative with how they make their own toys, but this is a new level entirely! Fantastic Venom head, and your other works look incredible

    "Then just do this....easy". You make it sound as if this is so simple haha! Do you realize you are a freaking genius for coming up with all this by yourself?! And extremely skilled, just the level of your drawings alone are top notch. How long have you been drawing before you started working on figures? I'm so impressed with this... I would love to learn but it won't be easy :P

    • @PaperPatriot
      @PaperPatriot  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      hahah yeah that part was tongue and cheek :)
      Nah I don't realise it at all, I've been doing this for so long that it's completely normal to me now. But thanks heaps for your words!
      I've been drawing for over 15 years, ever since I was 6 or 7 and saw Dragon Ball for the first time. And I've been attempted paper models for around 11 years, with my first completed success only really being 2 years ago with Superman (second video on channel)
      Yeah it would take time to learn for sure, I am thinking of ways to make much simpler models too that still look really good

    Incredible and ingenious.
    I can see from what you previously showed us that you have improved that much more, and everything seems to have been done a lot cleaner too ( and with that I mean that adding the tape to stick the black parts togheter don't stand out as much anymore )
    And I really liked the open mouth part and tongue a lot as well ( very ingenious again since plastic toys, and I mean the expensive onces don't even have them like you can do here )
    This opens quite a lot of posibilities and options and it's even giving me some ideas as well.
    Anyway I hope to see more from this in the near future ( god knows how long it takes to make something like this ) and I wish you the best of luck, and first and foremost keep improving yourself ( you have a gift afterall )
    ps. hope to see how you finish your Goku figurine to see how to make the other body parts, and if not then I wouldn't mind if you showed your progress of venom instead.

    • @PaperPatriot
      @PaperPatriot  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah I was a bit lucky there, it turns out that the spot where most of the tape was ended up being covered by the eyes. so it turned out very clean but I didn't plan that haha
      I have always been surprised by the lack of gimmicks in toys, especially the expensive ones! so I do it myself.
      Thanks heaps for the thoughtful comment, I really appreciate people putting in the time to type out a compliment like this! And YES, Goku and Venom are the 2 I'll be giving the most attention to in the next couple weeks.

    Nicely done mate. You can try using masking tape or paper tape as it's in some places, next time. It can be cut easily and has nice texture that also provides friction. Plus you can colour directly on the tape with the markers.

    I love the charm and energy you have infused into your videos. You have really developed your own style!
    Maybe for the tongue you can have it as a separate attachment that you can attach or remove depending on how you want the model to pose.
    Maybe a 3D tongue that slides into the attachment you have on the jaw already or heck if you wanna take it further have a tongue that flexes and moves.
    Keep growing my brotha!
    Great content as always!
    Make on!

      I used to, it's probably not a bad idea actually...you know what I'm gonna look into it. But doing everything with paper/card has it's own charm. And I don't thinking using foam would make much of a difference, and it's yet another material I'll have to buy
