You’ve got what it takes to blow this channel up dude. Positive energy and a natural on camera, great tunes, artful cinematography, and sufficient knowledge to teach. Thanks and good luck!
It is definitely a great truck and it's fine to see you get it fully going. It's got a lot of character and it fetched you when you're riding in it with that great music.
Great job on the “Binder”! I can tell you from experience, preservations can sometimes get way more attention and admiration than restorations. I would keep the truck and preserve it as is, the best you can.
She’s a great old truck. The more I see it going down the road, the more I love it just the way it is. A truck like that is dead simple, reliable, and useful. If she were mine, I’d replace the tires, fix the lights and the heater, and use it just the way it is.
Your comment about stitch welding your exhaust reminded me of the Tinkering with Tanks channel where they stitched a cast iron block together! Keep up the great content. It's one of the first ones I look out for :)
if you take the old oil that’s mixed with gas add some black paint tint .. recycle and paint that frame . Gas will evaporate and leave a nice black frame ..
I grew up with that same pickup for a few years before it was sold/traded for a newer model Dodge D200. Ours had the big 6 cylinder engine with a three on the tree. Grind the rusty metal clean makes for a better weld. Sorry to see the eyebrow rust in the fenders. Well done with the fuel line repair. Great rig, keep it!
I wanna see more and more of this truck. I binged the entrire series on this one today. Literally from picking it up to driving it around. Liked all and subbed. Someone near me has a 66 IH pick-em-up for sale and somehow, the algorithim just knew to post these to me today. Making me think real hard about finding the scratch to bring it home!!!! Well done Mick!
Nice work on the old international. I really enjoy every video that comes out. Keep up the great work! I like the new music and the awesome editing with your videos. Very nice work!
Classic vehicles are like boats. Best day of owning it is the day you pick it up. Second best day is the day you sell it. Love the video and great job as always! looking forward to the next one.
I have a 67 4x4 short box version of the same truck. I have the same experience when I take mine out for a drive. A lot of people tell me their grandpa had on of these cornbinders on the farm. Unless you're a huge die hard International fan, I'd either throw a new set of tires on it and drive it as -is or send it on down the line to someone willing to spend a lot of time and money making everything right. Parts, especially sheetmetal, are getting hard to find for these IH trucks.
Sheetmetal has definitely proven to be a problem! Such a bummer. A lot of guys out there that can make that stuff from scratch! Wouldn't that be a skill to have.
Now you need to get a set of what my dad called cowboy "Sunday go to church" bed rails... simplified explanation, three horizontal wood slats that mount in the stake pockets, bottom slat full length down the bed, middle slat 2/3, and the upper slat is 1/3 the bed length.
Thanks for taking us along for the ride! You have inspired me to get out in the garage to work on my 47 International KB-1. Think I'll fabricate up a transmission mount.
I think it'd be a great channel mascot / shop truck. It'd look great keeping the patina and adding some handpainted vintage style sinage on the doors and tailgate.
@@NockRanch she is more of a rat rod look. Lowered old school with axles on top of the leaf springs. Pretty solid body,, bad paint. Still has the tired old BG220ci and 3 on the tree putting along. I would really love to see it with a 4BT Cummins and a 4 speed floor shift but my wallet disagrees
International is looking great on the road! I have a 65 chevy k10 that I'm getting ready for the road , hopefully alternator and gas tank this week. Great video thanks!
People LOVE old internationals. I've driven a scout 80 a few times recently and the amount of attention it gets is crazy. Even non car people like them. As for yours I'd just leave it the way it is in terms of looks.
She is a cruiser. It's got to be a great feeling when you were driving it and people were enjoying as much as you were. As far as restoring it, seems everyone is incorporating the "patina" into the look. Finding decent body parts may be a challenge. She's a great old looking truck.
Barista, mechanic, entertainer, camera man, garage fashionista. You are one helluva renaissance dude.😄 But i gotta ask....what da hell was dat spritzy stuff you put on the grounds?
Repair all the rust and add it to the stable. If you can't or don't want to keep it, take it a little further, then sell it and use it to fund the channel's next project.
Love the cinematic shots! I say sell the truck, and keep bringing new fresh projects for us! Either way, it’ll be fun to watch the restoration of the interior but would love to see the jag worked on 🫢
That's an edit from @isaintjames called "Sunday Happy". He's an awesome guy and artist if you want to check him out on instagram, spotify, or soundcloud!
Man I have no clue what you should do with it really. Cause it is a super cool truck. But to even start making it "restored" would be a lot of work. So much rust on it. Would definitely love to see more of the truck though. I personally haven't ever seen one until you drug this thing out of the weeds.
@NockRanch Mike Man you have got to do some rust repair like a some Rust Oleum Paint. I mean come on man..... lol I know it give it character but it needs some Love.
I say, cool project. Let it go and do another one! It's the journey not the destination! But I also have a problem with buying and selling projects so don't listen to me. Bad influence here.

That chair. So much nostalgia, very fitting.
Thank you!
the drip coffee pot is outstanding!

Great to watch the truck on the road again....nice coffee machine bro...Pura Vida desde Costa Rica🤘🤘

I loved these trucks as a kid. Such a great look. Great face on it.

very cool truck Mick!

Awesome truck. Would love to see it get some love and care. Great camera work also
Thank you!
Congratulations on your first drive

I'm excited to see the scotch Brite/sos pad treatment and how the paint comes around.
I bet a wipe on clear coat would make this thing look great!

Hoping to find some donor fenders to fix those eyebrows. That's one of the best parts about the truck!
@@NockRanch These trucks are hard to find, seem to have become collectible.
Love to know more about that espresso machine! Great vid as always!
She's a classic! Anything 1960's is right up my alley.

Make this thing awesome driver you don’t see many keep the videas comin man
Great to see her on the road! Wish we could have accomplished that. She definitely went to a good home.
Appreciate that very much. Thanks again!
Definitely keep going on this one. Maybe get some of the sheet metal work done, but leave the patina(she’s earned it) and drive the heck out of her.
Nice work on the old international. I really enjoy every video that comes out. Keep up the great work! I like the new music and the awesome editing with your videos. Very nice work!

Hey man just want to say i was super impressed by the quality of this video. Awesome truck too! Definitely dropping a sub

Haha definitely wouldn't mind making some cash back for future projects!
9:42 Dude, your tunes are just stellar. Absolutely love them.

She's a keeper! Please restore it!
I'll do my best!

There's a thought! That'd be cool
That's a groovy ole truck. Appreciate you saving it. Thanks for sharing..
Thank you!
I think it is a great truck, and deserves a rolling restoration leaving some patina. And thats a lovely espresso machine you've got there.😍
I agree! thank you!
just use it as the everyday beater truck until someone offers you an insane amount of money for it! Great looking old truck.
Might be the way to go! Definitely going to toy it around town for a bit.
Thanks for taking us along for the ride! You have inspired me to get out in the garage to work on my 47 International KB-1. Think I'll fabricate up a transmission mount.
Glad to hear. and what a cool rig!
Cool
got to love the old internationals, good job getting it going. really enjoy your channel.

That would be sweet. Love that old hand painted look
great looking truck suits you down to the ground, music and video excellent keep it up.here in UK we wouldnt get away with driving it on our roads
I appreciate that. Cheers from the states!

I've definitely been turning the world wide web upside down looking for some front fenders! Such a shame if I can't find them.
There is a channel 406 garage that does strictly internationals he may be able to give you a lead on some fenders
Please save the old girl👍
Another excellent video! This truck is my favorite IH.
Awesome. Thank you!
Cool truck
Barista, mechanic, entertainer, camera man, garage fashionista. You are one helluva renaissance dude.😄 But i gotta ask....what da hell was dat spritzy stuff you put on the grounds?
Haha I appreciate that sir! It's just water! keeps the static down in the grinder, so the grounds don't stick to the plastic on the way down

Love that truck . Are you going to fix the fenders above headlights
That's definitely my biggest gripe about this truck. They don't sell repops, so I gotta find a donor!
Keep improving on it
Good video. When you going to get back on the skid steer?
As soon as we get some warmer weather here in Cleveland, I'll be on that thing like a fly on sh*t!
Nice old corn binder !

Looking far and wide for some patch panels first! It's killing me too!
I'm in Ohio too. Pretty close by I bet. I'd say leave it original and improve on reliability and drivability
Awesome, thanks for the comment!
I'd be cool if you took this truck on a trip.
Or towed home another project?? That would be sweet.
Did the name of your channel get shorter?
Sure did. Are you still keepin' up with me!? Good to see comments from you pal.
Im here Brother! Thanks for the fun videos!@@NockRanch
You have made it roadworthy, sell it and use the proceeds to fund your next project.
Might be the move!
Why bring it this far? Of course keep fixing it up.
Sounds good to me!

@@NockRanch especially for us northeast Ohio fellows. There's always a "better" project vehicle.
