Lived in the Scottish Specials houses on Nairn Road, loved it, as we could run the rolling hills at the end of the road Thanks for the clip, it;s a belter...what's the building at the 6:20 mark of the clip ? Have subscribed and will pass it on to some friends from Greenock/Gourock 🍁

That building is part of the former National Semiconductors. However now its another similar business but on a lot smaller scale as far as im aware. Hope this info helps and once again thank you so much for your kind comments.
@@droningonscotland Memories are precious to many of us, and I appreciate you're getting back to me on this...I was back one time and the indsutrial park up Larkfield way was where we could get the latest jeans for a few quid, everybody knew someone who worked there, and I remember arriving and the ladies sold me some jeans and they had a wee bit in the back with a curtain where they shortened them while I waited...was a lot more of a community feel back then but love Greenock and surrounding areas Happy New Year and hope you have fully recovered
Live in braeside so that was a great wee video of that part of the town

Anyone remember the metal dome in the swing park on Burns road , that thing was lethal.
