Most easy to understand video I’ve found. The last one I watched my head was spinning. The girl was rambling and super confusing. This is clear and concise. Noted some problems in comments too. Subscribed. Thank you!
I would go back in and double-check that you are linking the entire text box rather than just one letter or space. you can test the links inside of canva before you download it. Also, make sure that you don't have another element or text box (layer) covering the hyperlink! If it isn't the front layer it is possible that it is hiding the link!
Thank you for providing such valuable information. I have had a different small business for 15+ years now. But the digital world is newer to me. I feel so lost. Thank you so much. I learned so much from and the previous video linked to this one.
Hi Wendy! Great video 🙏 Thank you, but I have a question, if I share the link as you explained, if the template to edit on Canva is composed of premium elements who doesn't have a Canva premium account, I did the test but if I download the images appear with the writings .I hope I explained myself😅The question then is what would be the solution ? Thank you very much for your time ❣️
Question! Although we have canva-pro images in our digital download templates, the editable portions are non-Canva-pro. Will the client still have to have Canva-pro to edit? Will the watermarks be visible? Any way around this other than removing the pro content? Thank you!!
I am brand new to this and very confused. I want to upload a design not to be edited. The design is done and will be used for t-shirts, mugs etc. Are these the same steps I would follow?
Hi! Thanks for posting this video ❤ I did what you showed with my printable journal Pdf print. I downloaded to google drive and when i tried to check if it work, it told me; your file is too big to preview. Its 505 mb. Thanks ☺️
Yup! They changed The size that they allow in Google Drive to be opened. Super annoying!! I’m sure they’ll have a paid feature soon so that you can “upgrade”. I have no words. You can still download it to see if it works or send the link to a friend to have them download and test!
@@WendyJoDavis Alright thanks for your answer, then I know its nothing wrong with my link 😊 And yea it worked to download...just hope customers will not be confused... It works well on phone but not laptop so it was a bit weird, but thanks again 😊
Thanks so much for this video! I thought the template link had to be shared and allow anyone with the link to edit. How can they make changes if they are a viewer only...maybe i missed something?
I just rewashed this video again and now I see you did the Google drive and referenced the viewer only option inside Google drive. I would like to see how to properly upload into the Google drive or Dropbox to use that link for etsy. Maybe it will make more sense the more I watch your video. A step by step upload process from Google drive would be great!! Thanks for your videos!
There are a couple of things to check. Did you save the pdf as a standard version? That’s the only way the hyperlinks remain. Also, do not flatten your pdf when you save it. The other thing to check is your layers. Is there a layer over your hyperlink that is blocking it? One last thing is just to double check your hyperlink in canva before you download. Make sure you’ve linked the entire text box or image, not just one letter or something!
Thanks for the update. Ok, so I did a practice page with a couple of people. My question is do I create an individual link for each client. I found out that the one link shows everyone who has that image. Is that what’s supposed to happen.
@@wilhelminasmiley1288 the template link does not show who has the link nor does it allow anyone else to see edits that have been made. If you are testing it yourself you have to make sure you’re signed into an alternate account. There is no reason to create a new link for every customer.

Thank you sooo much!!! ❤❤❤❤
You’re welcome! It was long overdue!! 😁
When i download it as a standard PDF the link doesn't work i can't click on it and it's not flattened so i don't know what to do.

When I upload my planner pdf to my drive, the hyperlinks stop working, how would I fix this?

@@WendyJoDavis ok thanks. Lol you can tell I am new at this. Thanks again.
@@wilhelminasmiley1288 no problem! It got a lot more confusing when they added all of the different link options!
I think that's my same question. They need to be able to edit templates to change it to their specific needs. If we use view, can they edit that one?
what if the buyers doesn't have want a Canva account
They would have to create one of that’s how you are selling it. It’s free to Create and Use Canva as long as you aren’t using pro elements!
