I’ve done this before on a 95 Jetta it’s a pain in the ass everything has to be removed. Now I have to do it on 2 corrado g60’s thanks for taking the time to make this video.
Another great video you did Lou, great job making this video I don't have any heat in my Corrado what so ever because the heater hoses are disconnected from the firewall, and it's actually dangerous driving at night because my windshield fogs up and I can barely see out of the car. I can wait to get mine fixed this will help me achieve that be blessed bro 🏁🏆🛣️🏎️👌
After the knee bar, take out the screws holding the dash. (2) 8mm on both end, (2)10mm under the rain tray, 1 is by the ecu and 1 is by the whipper motor and last the last screw (1) 10mm by the center console/behind the voltmeter & oil pressure gauge
@@CorradoRacer You did a great job making this video Lou I love the detailed description you give. It all makes perfect sense I can't wait to have heat in my car again.
Also you didn't mention in the video when you drain the coolant do you drain it before or after? I would guess before so it doesn't leak everywhere, and also once you refill your cooling system what type of coolant do you use exactly what brand?
@@CorradoRacer If I recall, on the Canadian Corrado forum there was a write up of doing it without removing the dashboard, yes really!! The issue for me was the inevitable creaking and squeaking from the dashboard when everything was put back together 😭
@@matthewbell1968 ohh wow that seems impossible, the size of the heater box is huge...i dont see any other option trynna slide it out thru the passenger side...

Same here, after the knee bar, you went a lil too quick and didn't show what else comes out and then your holding heater core, Thanks tho,
Great video. Thanks for sharing
See ya soon...hopefully this weekend and trying to gather the other rado as well.
Do any AC lines have to be disconnected?
yes
I'd like to know where you got the set of switches between the center council and the cluster. they don't look stock?
they are all oem everything is factory 93 slc
if it's the red button it's my alarm aftermarket
Where do you get all your parts for your corrado?
ECS-Schimmel performance-partsplaceinc-etc
This is fantastic. Thanks for doing this!
my pleasure!
Did you drain coolant first? How bout A/C lines? Thanks
@@Kid_Ellipsis No need, u just disconnect the heater core hose. no need as well for the A/C line.
Did it on my Vr6 in 2011, absolute pig of a job. Then when you get to the heater matrix itself the hole is the size of a pin head 😭😭😭
yeahh its not really difficult but really a time consuming!
