I heard this is DreamWorks last in-house movie, which kind of makes it like a bittersweet sendoff. (mostly bitter as they delve deeper into corporate meddling)
I love the robots animation with the noodly arms since the arm design actually looks like it moves that way, rather than just be a giant with gears or hinges that moves less fluidly
As much as I adore the art direction they chose for this movie, I am a massive fan of the original aesthetic of the children’s book this movie is adapted from! No one seems to know the book, which is a shame since it’s very charming and the visuals are lovely. I am grateful however they went with an art style inspired by Puss in Boots and not something that looks like it’s cheap and cutting corners.
Finally. Someone making criticisms on the cinematography of an animated movie rather than just commenting on its animation. The animation community always fails to see it that way.

Very few of these reactions felt genuine. Felt like an agenda was in play so you forced yourself to dislike it. Either that or you are an extreme edgelord.
The only thing i didn't like about the trailer was the song. Wouldn't it be more effective without music in the background? 3:33 Olivia had me in stitches here XD
I think I probably prefer text overlay to a voiced interjection for short gags like this, particularly for trailer reactions since they are already 'stop and start' enough. I welcome it for when she needs to drop info in a longer form though.
Gonna be honest, inserting yourself into the clips for commentary isn't the reason why I watch these, just add a quick edit correcting Adam if he gets something wrong like the Snow Leopard thing and move on.
it's basically the robot from miyazaki's laputa, in design & character. twice now has hollywood ripped off that robot, first in the iron giant and now this.
A distributor from Universal literally pitched this movie to me as “Wall-E in the woods”. He’s not wrong though
it's from miyazaki's laputa. same basic design, even same character arch(powerful weapon learning to be one with nature).
Vocoded _What a Wonderful World_ actually sounds pretty cool to me.
I don’t care what you say, I am 100% going to see this. Read the books, made me cry.
DreamWorks basically used the same art style as Puss in Boots: The Last Wish for this movie, and it looks amazing!
Yeah, I was going to say it's very similar and that film was pretty great looking.
Too bad Megamind 2 didn't get the same treatment.
Children's illustration style
I noticed that too, especially during the scene with the fire. Super cool!
Bruh was really complaining about how it wasn’t 4k 😭😭😭
He acts like everything should be in 4K because it’s what he wants. Spoiled kid kinda attitude.
@@Shlankyman545It's from a major studio. It SHOULD be in 4K.

What about shrek 5?
I remember reading the book that this movie is based on. But it never answered why the robot was so wild!!!!! I KNOW GUYS, IT’S CRAZY!!!!!
I’m getting to the point that I can tell when something is going to trigger Adam, and it makes me chuckle when he goes off.

The Wild Robot and its sequel are hugely popular at the school I work at rn!
This movie looks right up my alley NGL. I'm pretty excited for this.

You should touch grass.
whoa wait till Scoot stumbles across Adum’s feline illiteracy lol
Any time a trailer plays “what a wonderful world” the tone of the movie is going to be very different than the tone of the trailer
I read this as The Wild reboot and got excited.
"oh my god, they're rebooting that shitty Madagascar rip-off?'
I do love a good Rohbit
How does Adam not know who Mark Hamill is? I know he's not a Star Wars fan but still...
I think he was referring to Kit Connor and Catherine O’Hara as the last two names he read
Snow leopards aren’t actually leopards. They’re genetically closer to tigers! They have spots because of convergent evolution, just like jaguars
4:00 I agree, that Def doesnt look like a snow leopard. You know what it does look like? A lynx. Which, yes, is a different animal
This is normally to cheesy for me.But i'm definitely gonna watch this on acid or mushrooms
i'm glad that i'm not the only one who thought that the robot looks like it came straight from the portal games
Bastion from overwatch: the movie
Glad I'm not the only one tired of hearing that song in trailers.
It looks cute!
So a movie based on that Overwatch Bastion origin short?
Bruh I was thinking the same thing lol
currently reading the books to my kids before bed at night and they are wonderful
Adam doesn't know Catherine O'hara? And he calls himself Canadian.
Never fun when the editor comments
Dunno why they self insert so much.

So many good DreamWorks movies for the last few years..❤❤❤
And so many mid/bad ones too. Inconsistent as always.
I'd watch this for the visuals alone
Probably be the last good Dreamworks movie, enjoy it lads
why the last?
@@hamster2u396 The animation is going to be done by Sony now

Olivia had me in stitches here XD
I’m scared cuz the animals are going to be voiced by famous people. I kinda just wanted to get high and watch a robot do shit. But it looks so pretty
This dude is so fucking negative 😂
Did he react to The Crow trailer yet?
Olivia actually cutting into the video and pulling an adum on adum is something I never knew I needed.

Slowed down old songs in trailers is the most annoying trend
well, in your opinion, yes
Adum's furry cred is plummeting
how is it cheesy that hapens in the book
i LOVE thew iwld robit book and now a moive OMG

It really reminds me of the last bastion overwatch short. Hope it ends up being just as good
that was an awesome roast against adum. well done olivia
More like The Woke Robot
Lmao
The robot asked to not be identified with human pronouns so I’m gonna throw a public tantrum and make multiple yt videos about it

i always wonder from this version how much autotune and custom-anthem-isms would you need to add to give adum a stroke
