Very nicely done in terms of chopping and screwing another old song.
This actually helped me to get through certain days that weren't so amazing.
And It's just a shame no one wants to post more Chopped and Screwed songs on TH-cam as much.
Since this sounds fine as Heaven if so.

Check out Oneohtrix Point Never's (aka Chuck Person) Eccojams Vol. 1, which is considered to be one of a few releases that started vaporwave. He samples Toto - Africa on that tape, that is probably what Shlohmo was screwing around with on his mix. no pun intended

You just sent me on a wild goose chase, but I landed on Oneohtrix's old jams which made me realize that the Vaporwave / (all)wave genre was around for almost a decade!
Unfortunately Chuck person - EccoJam A1 wasn't the one Shlohmo used. =(

OK this allll makes sense now! I used to be a huuge Shlohmo Fan back when he made his experimental tracks from 'Camping EP' and 'Places EP' and wondered where he got his inspiration from. When someone like Oneohtrix is your role model you're bound to make good music.
Unfortunately now all Shlohmo makes is shitty basslines for mumble rappers. Hope he comes back. Yeah i think he made his own Africa Screw.

I feel ya on this “too slow” comment. It’s been slowed to the point of losing the 2-step format but additional chops reconstructing it would have probably helped, no disrespect to the OP it’s still pretty good sound but the 2-step kinda floats away
