A great fantasy movie. It has a story, great set design, great makeup and cinematography and the plot is easy to follow.
The villain isn't some 1 dimensional bad guy. He's angry and has every reason to be.

There are some species of lizard living its entirety of life inside the water, and others species are also an amphibian as well. But yes Abe is in fact a fish, specifically an Ichtyo Sapien, or an Ichton-human hybrid.

Even though he was right but destruction is not the correct way to fix things. If he had the power of of the Golden Army or any kind of power that can topple the world then he should use that power to force the right measures into place instead of committing a mass genocide.
