- We always enjoy seeing the Underground Boys perform, so we thought they might enjoy seeing themselves in action. The goal was to see the looks on their own faces as they hear themselves. I think they enjoyed it.

There is a clip (shot by someone else) being passed around on Facebook. As of today, March 2nd 2019, it has over 290,000 views. These boys are incredible. Thank you for sharing.
Yes, it showed up in late-February, and it's been shared to several other Facebook pages. I've been occasionally posting comments and link on some of those videos to drive traffic here as I believe that the people who see that video would enjoy seeing these. The goal is to get these kids noticed and create some opportunities for them they otherwise will never have. I am a bit concerned that someone else has created an instagram page and is raising money for them. That would be great if the money ends up in their hands, or better the hands of their parents, but that would be difficult for anyone not on the ground here to accomplish. We have made no effort whatsoever to monetize anything related to these kids, and don't have any plans to do so unless we can find someone trustworthy and local to manage it for them.
@@zazakanto-undergroundboyso4921 If you decide to set something up, let us know. I'd gladly give if I knew it was going to the boys or family. I won't give a cent if it was going to someone that is trying to make a few dollars by exploiting the boy's talent.

It has been such a pleasure and delight hearing these boys, and witnessing such joy and heart--they're truly something special. Thank you for giving them a platform, and for all you continue to invest in them. I would love to hear them do an arrangement of the traditional Malagasy folk song, "Diavolana Fenomanana Takariva."

Yes, we've done that. There are several other sites that have hosted snippets of the same video. Others have used that video and done sing-along and play-along renditions. Still a few others have copied videos from this page and rehosted without attribution. We've used all of those in an effort to drive some traffic to this UBT youtube channel and their facebook page. We've had minor success with that as you can see.
I am aware that the world wants to see these boys. The first time we heard them last July, our immediate reaction was that the world needed to see them as they are a unique and remarkable talent. Since then we've done whatever we could to make that happen by sharing their videos, first on our own facebook pages and then by setting up the youtube page in October.
We're thrilled that they are finally getting the attention they deserve. I don't really care that most of the traffic is going elsewhere as we have no intention to monetize what we've done. The goal is being achieved. It doesn't matter the method. That said, I do believe we have something special to offer here as much of the commentary on those other sites asks where can more of them be seen. This channel is the answer to that. I have attempted to advise those other site of my willingness to share these videos through them, but I have so far seemingly had no success, which is very likely due to my not knowing what I am doing or how best to engage them. I did notice that several of them have taken information from this channel such as the names and ages of the boys, but none have linked back to us or the facebook page to help their viewers find the content they desire.
I will reiterate to the boys tomorrow the degree to which they are becoming known throughout the world. I'm sorry the whole world can't be present to watch them in person, but I think that day may be coming.
