When Kevin breaks out the horn, Matt starts making the drum sounds, and Scott takes over the bass line. Mitch can hit soprano notes and low tenor/high baritone notes, and Kirstin can hit high soprano and low alto. Their versatility is just insane. In my opinion, that is what makes them the best.

I love everything about this cover. Matt’s bass as you said is straight off the bat just amazing, Kevin’s beat throughout the song is so cool and then the trumpet is perfection, Kirstie’s chilled Latina vibes give me life lol I’m supremely jealous of Mitch’s gorgeous high notes and his pink jacket 😂 and then of course Scott just delivers a solid, flawless performance as usual. The video itself is so damn good, it’s so chock full of casual swag from them, they’re just chillin out on some couches, delivering the best version of this song I’ve ever heard. Love, love, loved your reaction to it 😁💓
I just love how effectively they create that tropical Cuban musical vibe. Like you said, better than the original. And, as usual, the production values were virtually perfect.
I have been living on a steady diet of what I consider the "big 3" a capella groups. Home Free, Pentatonix, and Voice Play. They all have their own sound and I love them all for different reasons. Great reaction once again! ❤

You can clearly see Matt is still singing the baseline at this moment. Maybe they do it that way live, but something else is going on here.
