We all make mistakes! And even harder when so many variables in the game and different stage players can be at! But yeah, you absolutely want to use Orb cards nowadays. I'm also currently working on a very detailed Orb Devo guide that I hope to publish this week. (I'm sure I may make some mistakes too, haha).
I was on the discord looking at t1 Devo because I am a new player. I have DW, GT, and BH with coin bot synced. It was mentioned something about don’t kill them, because of a x7 health bonus? I haven’t seen anywhere else where that’s mentioned. Could you help fill me in so I understand. Thanks!
The purpose of devo is to accumulate enemies atoubd your tower so everyone of them is killed by death wave whent it activates, becasue each enemy that desth wave kills, will give you 0.05% more max health. The max % of extra hp is increased with the lab
@@BlaydeX I think it started at x8, went down to x7 for a LONG time, and then now got boosted to x11 at max. Coin/cell/health bonuses all from enemies hit with effect waves or get killed on the DWdw itself now after the rework to DW.
The 7x vs 8x was just semantics back in the day when you had to calculate yourself how much health bonus the DW was giving you. Some referred to it as 7x as it was 7x your health pool, but including your own health pool it would be an additional 1x. Anyways, note that the guide you are referring to is outdated. And getting the Death Wave Health bonus is much easier nowadays. Just make sure to lab your Death Wave Health lab, and just do orb devo or some hoarding to get the health multiplier up in a run - but you can easily nowadays get the health multiplier maxed with just blender too. But orb devo will net you more coins for a long while in the game until you can do orbless.
Is there a reason you can't have the range out to where the normal orbs run? I am early game, so I am new to the strategy, but right now I have my range at 69.5, and the orbs run right through the middle of my black hole.
Yeah. There's quite a few of them out there but I'm using LDPlayer. I'll use OSlink to remote into my PC while at work so the game is always running and I can click the gems with the remote in between clients.

^Yep this exactly

@ right but where does x7 come from or was that just from an old guide/version?
I think it may have been an old guide from an old version of the game. I want to say DW originally maxed out at x7 health.

BH range is limited so the closer it is to your tower the more it can cover the orbs and your tower
Are you using some kind of emulator to play the game on PC?
Yeah. There's quite a few of them out there but I'm using LDPlayer. I'll use OSlink to remote into my PC while at work so the game is always running and I can click the gems with the remote in between clients.
