Meo Fusciuni has got to be the most elegant, complex most beautiful fragrance works of art I’ve smelled. I’ve only had the privilege of sampling Little Song and Sogni, but looking forward to trying more.
You really like the animalic notes eh? Can't remember I mentioned it already but have you tried Nouveau Monde? It's a crazy strong leather / oud combo.
When they're blended a very specific way, yes. All the ones from ELDO, Kouros, Antaeus, etc aren't my style though. Nouveau Monde has yet to be sampled. Nuit de Feu, imo, is the best from LV.
Good, detailed review. Thank you! I am intrigued enough that I should at least sample this and considering that I am from India and I have visited Varanasi a few times. With such perfumes they also need to have 30 ml for buyers to reduce their risk and for their noses to evolve. As you say if it is going to a perfume for your own joy, buying 100 ml is not wise. They need to get their marketing and strategy right. Which do you feel is more wearable as you have sampled all their collection?
The house offers a sample set. I'm not sure about Indian distributors though - but I would imagine a lot of the European ones would ship to India, if you can't find an Indian one. You might check Splash Fragrance India. They have been really awesome to me in the past and they have huge variety. This is the only offering from the house I've tried, but I am willing to bet that Varanasi is the most challenging of the house.
@@realscentreview Thanks for the guidance. I suspect Splash Frag is NOT authentic. In India, one has to be wary of scam artists:) I have interacted with the owner a few times and I found their prices suspect and even how they showcase the perfumes on their website. The owner is a smooth talker but one has to see through that. Anyway that's only my opinion and I respect your views too.
I get a little of Saffron Rose by Grossmith London

My personal fav from the Meo house is Last Season. It’s such a unique fragrance and surprisingly my signature

All of them.
