There are christmas sugar cookies that I make every Christmas that are a tradition in my family and are super delicious. They are sugar cookies that have vanilla buttercream or vanilla royal icing on them and you can decorate them any way you want and they are also in christmas cookie cutter shapes. I have been making them ever since I was seventeen and now I am 41 years old. Love them so much. They are a big hit every christmas.
Use a double boiler for melting chocolate - no risk of burning. I usually add half a teaspoon of peppermint extract....never tried an eighth. When using with a can of condensed milk for white fudge I used 1.5 teaspoons of extract Loved the idea of swirls on top! Plus I powder crush peppermint candies and sprinkle on thru a small wire colander. I like it powdery. Then I add the leftover chunks on top
I made homemade white chocolate bark and chocolate almond bark covered sunflower seed candy bars, I've also made chocolate almond bark and peanut butter fudge, and I've also made chocolate almond bark peanut butter brittle bark candy, I've also made white chocolate bark and chocolate dark almond bark dipped pretzels.
My favorite Christmas tradition is 'Sprocking" the raw turkey .. We grab it by the wings, lift if high into the air in front of a window and say "SPROCK!" This gives it the chance to make one last flight to freedom before we throw it in the roasting pot! They all, curiously declined the release and never objected to the oven!
WELL, FIRST BATCH I BURNED IT ON STOVE GOT HARD NOT SMOOTH...SO DID 2ND BATCH IN MICROWAVE CAME OUT PERFECT AND SMOOTH ...STOVE TOP COOKING IS NOT FOR ME ...LOL ...THANK YOU ..."HAPPY!! HOLIDAYS"!!!

My favorite dessert is rum cake for Christmas.
😋
Note: many white chips are not White Chocolate, "they're just a like a white icing".
The White Chocolate makes them so much better!
Great tip!
👍🏻
How long does it take to make I wanna do it
It takes about 30 minutes to make! Hope you try it out!
What setting for the heat?
Medium low to medium. But constantly stir it.
Use a double boiler and you don't have to constantly stir it
