The wing capes would be awesome, but I'd rather have relaxed wings instead. That way the figure isn't obscured by the wings hanging in front of them, but you still have room to stand them side by side. Great review.
Relaxed is exactly what would be cool. So still in the back but just kinda folded up. As u said, it wouldn’t completely cover up the coolness of the sculpt and paint work.

It would be cool if after all the Gargoyle characters are done, Neca were to release a boxed set, containing pairs of folded wings for everybody.

The wings should've been a combination of soft goods wire and articulated plastic.
I'm sorry to be the one saying this but the fact that we don't have to heat the figures up before messing around with them doesn't mean the articulation is great, it means that it used to be very bad and now is at best... acceptable.
Neca's articulation isn't the best, in fact it isn't even good, it's normally just acceptable but the sculpt and paint are amazing. I'm not talking about paint quality since every time I mess around with a Neca action figure I have to clean the paint scrapings from my table when I'm over.

I only got one of the original Goliaths back in the day, not articulated like this one, but he had fabric and plastic wings that could fold down or spring open

I bought a Storm Collectibles flight stand for Goliath and it's perfect. You can adjust it to different heights and I can now fit him on the shelf with other figures. I think having two flight stands, adjusted to different heights, with one figure more forward than the other, might do the trick.
Great idea! Will check out those flight stands from Storm as well.
its sad how Neca stands dont work for there own figures they dont know how to make the figs right because there always off balance...

Pretty cool figure, neca did good.. I picked up the neca Spyro figure today, along with a small series of mcfarlane figures from the legend of sleepy hollow movie with Johnny Depp, all mint on card. Have a good rest of your weekend brother!

You can tilt the wings up in an angled, that would enable you to display the two character together or any future neca gargoyles character releases..

There is a total of 13 figures planned for this first line up. So far we have Goliath, Thailog, Demona, Bronx, Hudson, Brooklyn, Lexington and Broadway. The remaining 5 will more than likely be Angela, Elisa, Xanatose in his steel clan armor, Steel Clan Warrior and Macbeth. That is the core cast of characters.

@@dwaindwain3372 Yea...I know whats your point, these are most likely the next releases due to being part of the main cast. Do you mean there are other gargoyles from the show youd rather have over human figures? I whole heartedly disagree, as many of the humans...like Elisa, Xanatos, Macbeth and Fox are pivotal to the show and as a hard core fanatic I'd much rahter have them then say Griff or any other of the clones. I have a deeper attachemnt to those human characters and they are far more important to the shows stroy than some of the one off gargoyle characters that popped up here and there. I'm so grateful for this line.

Excellent Review. Hunting her down is difficult but she looks worth it. I actually love those wings. They add major presence. My only gripe is the paint job on those guns. Wooden barrels? I'm no firearms expert but I never saw modern weapons have them.

Personally, when I get my man cave, I'm going to make a castle set to perch some of them on and tie the rest to fishing line and hang them in a flying pose.
Smart move. I considered maybe hanging some myself. Especially if we don’t get relaxed wings for them all.

Man, you must be one of the lucky ones that got the figure in perfect condition , I saw several reviews where the wings didn´t hold stratight and keep bending down loose. Specially the review of Mad Hatter where wh got one and thought it was just his , got another one and it came the same and several people are complaining and returning them cause of this
Mine is so far so good. Hate to hear folks are having issues however. Did not realize there were known QC issues.
These figures are beautiful, I hope the make the Human version of Demona and I know they have to make Elisa

Ended up painting in the black upper fangs white similar to their prototype. Wish the wings were softer pvc and hope we get relaxed wings besides folded wings

Just a tip the Gargoyles feet should be up on n their front toes, they arent made to be flat footed

I wish neca had trusted us to buy a flight-wing 3-packs (Goliath, Demona, Thailog) (Hudson, Broadway, Brooklyn) (Lexington, Angela, Coldstone), instead of including them in the general release.
yuo see this kind of thinking is why toy companies are ripping us off. for these prices extra wings and stuff should be included

Bronx,demona,Goliath, thailog are the only ones out right now the rest of them will start to come out in September

Demona is a BAD ASS BITCH!! Loved her as a villain, along with Poison Ivy and Mystique.
I got to say, when I see how great details of that book with this figure, I wonder anyone company will take up the challenge to create a better details book from other storyline. Remember the “ book of the dead” and “ book of the life” from the 90’s movie” the mommy “ ? Both of the books required a special key and turn the knob on the book just to open it. If somebody out there can make those two books that special details, that company deserve the respect then.
It could def happen is someone takes up those properties and does figures. A good 3D printer could also make it happen I would bet.

Beautiful sculpt for a Beautiful character however I think the face popping off was a bad choice should I think been a changable head instead, nice to see the care taken to do a female form right

Why was Demona falling over so funny?
Just about everyone is complaining about the wings. I'm one of them. Hopefully neca thinks of a better design so they can fold or maybe even drape over the figure like in the cartoon
Agree. I don’t dislike the wings we got, I just wish we had another option as well along with these. They look great in a flight pose, but we need something for just vanilla posing on a shelf.

I'm itching to find Demona. I'm all in on the Gargoyles line, they are so good. I don't have shelf space for Thailog and Goliath, so they are hanging above a shelf in hovering poses.
I like the idea of hanging them in flight poses!
dude keep it that way there great if you keep them in box out of box there trash none of there figs can stand from any of there line...and there Neca stands don't work for them neither
@@eastnysfinest239 I've got nearly 70 awesome Neca figures, and have only had trouble standing 2 of them, April and Pennywise. Those are the only 2 I have on stands. And those stands are working as they should.

Instead of relaxed wings, I´d rather they had 2 more articulations on the wings, so that we could bend them over their chest. Besides, an awesome figure!

I liked the show and the figures look amazing. But that wing span. Also I was like today years old when I relaxed the thailog is Goliath spelled backwards which makes sense that he is his doppelgänger

I have not seen her on any websites as well. Not sure if she’s exclusive but it seems as of right now, Target is the only option.
why i cant adjust the ANGLE of the wings? not rotating them, but rather making them flat behind her instead of sticking out? the hinges on the wings seem to have something keeping them from moving
Sounds like a little defect. Could always try heating them in some warm water but def be careful there. Would snap really easy with too much pressure.

What if you articulate the wings down I mean I know each wing is bigger than the character but it might save on space
Slightly helps. And kinda helps stand them but looks odd and the wings don’t really fit in the back properly when articulated down.

What’s going on with this figure ? She didn’t even release in stores. I have never seen one at target and I’ve asked for the last year about it. And they said they didn’t get any.
All part of the Haulathon for now. My guess is we will see an online release after Haulathon is over. Hopefully.

I’m not sure the exact date but it came out the 2nd week of Haulathon. Target is the only place to find her right now. Hopefully online down the road.

So far the only way to find it is physically in a Target store. Nothing online yet.
Is this a target exclusive? Bbts dont have her and way back you could order Goliath direct from necas store but none of the other ones?!

I'm so bummed because Gargoyles is my second favorite cartoon of all time and I really really want to like these figures, but the wings are completely hijacking the enjoyment factor. I ended up just putting Goliath back in his box right now because he can't fit in my detolf and I have no idea how I would even display the entire team together. I just don't understand why NECA did not do a either bendy wire wings like the tail or just have hinged wings.
I’m with ya on the wings. It’s the only negative I can give this line. Hopefully as with Bronx (wings for Goliath), they will continue to package relaxed wings in with future releases.

Well the wings they gave us are just as awful. They feel like cheap plastic that is going to break at any given moment.
They should have done what Revoltech did with their Rodan figure and had a rubbery material for the wings.

Yea, not sure on release date for her. I do Know I’ve seen many folks finding her at Targets. Some targets already have their “Haulathon” displays set up. I’d def be on the lookout beginning now.
