I would love animated versions of the Gargoyles. I'm a sucker for animated style action figures, even tempted to pick up the new Hasbro DnD figures, even if I think Hasbro have become the quintisential Ebineezer Scrooge of action figures.
I'd love to see a more cartoon accurate incarnation. I'm confident it'll happen eventually. This line still has a ways to go. We are only four releases in as of right now. I have them all,but Thailog isn't a priority.
Personally I’m loving the gargoyles neca figures. My only big issues is those massive wings that don’t articulate anywhere but the back leg holes. These wide open wings on every figure take up so much space that if u don’t have much room u just don’t display em with the wings. At least they give u folded wings for Goliath but u have no choice to buy Bronx in order to get those folded wings. That is my only issue with these amazing figures. Keep em coming. All versions. Just either make the wings more articulated so u can bend em and save space or also put the folded version of wings along with the big wings

QOTW: YES! I appreciate what NECA is doing, they're trying to add a touch of realism and seem to think of this is a "monster" brand, but I would love a more toon-specific line. I don't know what I would do with the current figures if they pivoted to that, and maybe that's why they're not interested in doing so right now.
How about a bonus question of the day: Why do the gargoyles, despite being an egg-laying species, have "chesticles?" Do they actually nurse their young? I mean, I know the real answer is "Because it looks sexy," but I always wondered what the in-universe explanation is.

Her cloaked wings are going to come with Xanatos.
As for her bust size.... well, depended on the artist and the particular animator. But the figure seems to match the character model in that department.
I would love to see the toon-style gargoyles. Demona here isn't ripped, thankfully, but Goliath is and the upcoming Brooklyn is absolutely shredded. Too much. I fear they're going to do a 5-POA toon style for at least the main cast eventually... and while I'd buy those, I'd rather full articulation.

I like theore realistic look over the more cartoon version because I think if it were financial feasible they would have made them look like these. I think the simplified look is a matter of necessity than actual artist interpretation.

I never got into Gargoyles (heard it was really good) but when I saw this figure in the store I seriously considered picking it up because it's so nice.
I've never watched Gargoyles but this looks really good. Neca does magic in making these figures look and move good at that price
Awesome looking figure and great review. Used to watch the show a lot as a kid even though I wasn't the biggest fan. I would also like to see more figures done in the animated style. Might pick her up, do you have the option of removing the wings?

I want more articulate gargoyals, im trying to pose her and its rather difficult. She feels greater to the touch though, I don't know what material is causing that but its nice. relative size accuracy between the characters, more face places, a stand or something, & change the bloody wings to something lighter & more posable
Love to see a cartoon style. My version of the figure had some qc issue which I had to fix myself. Basically missing the port for the tail to port into. Had to drill a hole in order to port it.
She looks amazing just fantasic...I think her facial sculpt perfectly captured her look from the cartoons and her gun is based off the gun she used in the series . I also wish her atm bracelet was made of of real metal to match her other jeweries but I can live with what she came with😊.I have to say that Im not impress with the images of Angela and Eliza Maza their facial sculpt and body shape are not visually please going from those promotional pictures of these upcoming figures. Still I am planing to collect as many of the Gargoles figures as possible hopefully Neca will produce Accessory packages to enhance the figures looks which would include A wing framed wings for most of our heroes
Man I love the show back in the day it was dark and awesome and this figures are just beautiful I very can get some NECA TMNT but I may get Goliath but who knows.

I like the desire now there's enough cartoon figures out already. What they need now is to make the wing problem by making a collapsed set in same package.

I don't want another set of gargoyles but if they shared a comparable aesthetic as the NECA toon turtles, that would be hard to say no to. But as it stands I'm not picking up any more of these gargoyles until we get articulated wings that can extend and collapse because these things are shelf monsters.

To be honest I don't open my figures. I leave them in the package they come in. I like what Neca is doing so far with the Gargoyles Anthony. I can't complain
I have no connection to this ip, but they look cool, though. I think it would be a benefit for those who were into the cartoon to get cartoon accurate figures.
I just have the Neca Goliath figure and I’m good considering how fast they sell it out. Damn scalpers.
I'm fairly confident if we ever get a cartoon version of these characters it would be from like, super 7. Which isn't ideal.

You got lucky with the QT. Mine had two issues. The screaming face is missing white paint on the teeth and the second issue is the peg on the left wing is too loose. Wing barely stays in a neutral position. Anyone else have these problems?
I want robot Goliath and would like the animation style
I’m sure it’s inevitable that existing molds will get cell shading and maybe new head sculpts. I prefer this style thus far.

I would absolutely prefer cartoon versions of the Gargoyles characters. I don't know why that's not what they went for from the start.

This gargoyles figures are awesome but I freaking hate the wings. This figures are perfect to match with the dc figures neca did of Superman and Batman and green lantern. And they go well with the neca Flash Gordon defenders figures.
I bet they’ll release her human form and her second wings will be with that figure.

Really like this line... except for the giant, unfoldable wings. All they had to do was put a hinge in there. If they make me buy figures that I don't want to get them, I might quit the line. They are not practical to put on the shelf at all.
Was never into the cartoon, but I still got her for my Mythic Legions collection.
I love mythic legions too but i only get the skeletons and more demonic figures. Cant wait till they unveil the 4th horseman, Death.
I wish her alt face sculpt looked more sinister (like her box art) and less like a yell.
Also, nice sculpting on her thighs - that's all I'm going to say! ☺️

Where did you find this Figure? I know you didn't find it on Store Shelves. According to Hasbro you can't have Demon Characters in Stores. That's one of the ways Hasbro is Justifying Having Mephisto locked behind an overpriced Haslab. Interesting.

I do not like the way her eyes look on the alternate head. It looks like she got flaming hot cheeto dust thrown in her face.
QotD: I'd love a set of cartoon style figures, especially if they did side characters like Una and Sora.
I prefer the cartoon designs honestly. I do not really like the more muscular aesthetic for these for some reason.

I think my issue with her glowy eyes face is that the way they painted it makes it look like her eyes are huge and bulging, which isn’t the look 😛.

The realistic ones are cool 3nough, I never thought we'd get good gargoyal figures in general. I remember some of those old toys and they suuuuuuuucked. So frankly I'm just happy they exist. But like repaints are always nice.
