I love Dustin Lynch as a person. But I feel musically he has really gone off the tracks. He fell into this bro country category that is over produced and fake sounding. There is a reason why this sounded sooo much different than his recorded version. I miss his cowboys and angels days. Get back to your roots Dustin.
@@reallivewrestling6708 I'm not saying music can't adapt and change over time. Listen to a new Luke Combs sing and then go listen to an original Brooks and Dunn song from the early 90s. They sound different don't they? That's because music has adapted and slightly changed over time. There is a huge difference between that and completely changing the format and style then Injecting another genre into it. Then trying to call that music the genre it originally started as.
I love Dustin Lynch his music is flawless and I'm a new huge Dustin fan... he can sing anything regardless of what it is and looks good doing it he's going in the right direction
So let me understand....he is such a Sarah Buxton fan and thought it was so amazing to be able to do the performance with her and such a dream but she is behind him like nothing more than a usual background singer. Had Dustin truly regarded her so highly he would have moved a guitarist over or to the back and her up beside him.
Brandi K I don’t know much about acoustics or anything like that, but since they were singing it live for the radio, her being behind him may have made her background singing sound like true background singing, where if they had put her right next to him, it would’ve sounded more like their voices were both competing for the lead vocals. The placement made it sound more like the actual recorded version 🤷🏼♀️
Absolutely not all he is doing is Taking a great song and Turning it into crap it's not a pop rap song so don't do it Leave it alone and let George strait sing it😡
I disagree that he turned it into a pop rap song in any way. Also, What’s wrong with him singing a song that he likes?? People cover songs all the time. Nothing wrong with singing a song they like in their own style/key, etc.
@@57HarleyDavidson it's not a pop country song like he made it out to be all he did was Turn a perfectly good song into a pop rap song so no country music is not meant to be pop or rap music and that's all he made it out to be I'm sick and tired of people Turning true traditional country music into pop and rap music if they want to sing pop and rap music fine but live country music out of it
I love Dustin Lynch he is a awesome singer

Unfortunately
Things can’t stay the same country music will be even different 20 years from now. All music in general!
Real Live Wrestling country music should always stay the same artist are mixing rap and country and it sounds bad

Temazo David . I love George
I wish Dustin would stay away from pop and go back to more traditional music. Still a class act though.

Roots do grow, you know. Just saying.
How did he go from a fantastic country song like 'cowboys and Angels' to that pop garbage that is 'ridin roads'?
It really is disapointing. But thats what the people want these days which is sad. Country is dying because of people like him giving up on his roots
$$$ Is why

what are you talking about?? there were no rap elements in that strait cover

@timmy thomas I thought Dustin Lynch did great on covering Check Yes or No.

@@timmy38583 Dustin Lynch didn't turn Check Yes or No into a country pop or pop song.
It’s not even the song
Not a fan of his voice or music. Destroyed georges music. 👎
+Maxwell N No he didn't destroy country music.
See, I think he did good! You can't expect it to be as good as George!
