So delightful in every way; my mum will see this as her folks came from Nova Scotia. TH-cam in Northern California mountains; thanks so much for posting this great family music!

What an amazing talented family. I've watched Natalie perform for many years and it's wonderful seeing her, Donnell and children. I actually just came from a concert in Richmond, ON.

"Pushy Mom"? She's an educator. She's giving her children an education in many areas, and music happens to be one of the subjects. If you have ever had children in music, they do not volunteer to practice (usually). Not at first. It has to start somewhere. I admire that in the midst of the performance, they were parents first, recognizing the wee one lost her hair band and how that upset her and she didn't get to finish her performance. That warmed my heart and did you see her big smile. Well done.

This is the way it is in beautiful Cape Breton, Nova Scotia ... an old-fashioned kitchen party where everyone joins in. Music brings families, communites, and generations together.

'What about home schooling...I say it's great to see parents first kids next but first to know what's important in the moment. Bless them all.

I remember when Natalie and Donnell were first married. Time is flying. Now 4 children later....Wow!
I'm sure here kids aren't being "pushed" into playing the fiddle or dancing in front of people cheering. I see healthy, happy children. And, even if they are encouraged, thank goodness! If my parents didn't encourage me I'd never be successful, 3 degrees later. My only regret is not playing the fiddle.

Natalie MacMaster with her kids! Nice video -- wonderful to watch. However maybe it could be mentioned that they also the kids of Donnell Leahy.also a monster master fiddler and actually is standing on the stage with them -- maybe his genes have something to do with this also? Just a suggestion!

This is cute, but I have to wonder how pushy mom is to get these kids to perform like this...
