I thought the squad leaders were the three most right (left in the video) people? Am I wrong? I'm just wondering because in JROTC we did it were the element leaders were the three most right people. I'm trying to get as much information before I leave for basic training in July 25
For those who find this comment later (I assume it's too late for you), you are correct. In this case, the formation is longer (more squads/elements) than it is wide (i.e. it has four squads of three, rather than three squads of four), and is already turned to the right so the squad/element leaders are already in front.
