    Just a suggestion, when putting the fan back have a piece of cardboard slid down to protect the radiator fins

    Thank you for this. Excellent style and delivery! This helped my confidence, and three hours after I got back from AutoZone with the new radiator, I was test driving it. Could have done it faster, but I put up a pop-up in my driveway to keep out of the sun, and took a few "breather" breaks to regroup and psych myself up for the next step. Plus, it was a pain trying to juggle the new radiator, condenser, and transmission cooler to all fit in place at the same time.

    Very convenient having new bolts on the front of the skid plate
    Mine are the round head Allen bolts that are completely rusted at four different points for each bolt

    I think you should put the skid plate on last , to make sure you have no leaks .

    Do you have to add transmission fluid back in how much did you loose by taking off the transmission cooler lines

  • @A314000
    @A314000 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Did you find you had to top off your Transmission fluid at all?

    So I just had my radiator replaced and I went under my truck and the transmission hose on the passenger side is leaking. I noticed the spring clamp is broken. Can I remove the hose to replace the clamp without losing all my transmission fluid?

    i was going to replace my radiator but was concerned with the plastic radiators. Think i should buy an all aluminum one?

      Plastic is the OEM part... I bought an all aluminum.

    Replaced my radiator on a Titan 2011 and followed this video step by step with success.
    Most challeging part was taking off/on the fan using standard wrenches, and reattaching the AC bracket. My titan had a plastic shroud around the AC mounts that made it much more difficult.
    The skid plate was different, but I figured it out.
