I have been keeping aquarium fish since I was 5 years old.....now 50+ years and I believe these are the most beautiful freshwater angelfish I've ever seen. Altums, Koi, Pinnoy Paraiba. IMO this has them all beat.
Very nice colours !.. And a very pretty setup. But.., I'm been seeing at the first time, that the Angel fishes are "ripping" with each other... My Angel fishes were absolutely peaceful, the most peaceful fishes in my aquarium. BfK.
Now there's a coincidence. Yesterday I purchased 8 Nanay for my 160×80×60 tank. I keep mine with 8 Guianacara owroewefi, 6 Brachyrhamdia meesi and 7 Panaqolus maccus L104 (and 10 Sicydium sp.)
@@tantranduy5107 Basically any bright white LED, with the addition of maybe of blue LED strip, just strong enough to highlight the blue markings of the fish.
I had them ordered from a dutch wholesaler through My local dealer in Denmark. They are not that unusual in the trade, but at times they can be difficult to find.

For me Rio nanay are the most beautiful Pterophyllum scalare .

My experience with Angelfish, is that as soon as They get ready to pair off, They act more or less like any other monogamous cichlid.

Nice, l also have peruvian altum in my tank, they are very elegant fish offcourse after the Orinoco or atabavo altum(real altum) 🤭😁
