Well, Vernon, at least you didn’t get the skunk. And look at that beautiful country that you’re in now. Sure is a lot different than the dead desert and cactus in Vegas. It just amazes me how beautiful it is up there.😊

lol Ralph, I hear you. There is a joke here in the prairies, that you can see your dog running away for miles. No mountains around, but I am happy that you can appreciate the beauty in these areas, and I will keep showing them as long as people enjoy it.

I was having no luck on the Red at the start of the week. I’ve been checking out the stocked trout ponds instead. There’s tiger trout up on Hecla island this year. And still some BIG rainbows at Reynolds ponds in the big pond. Big pond is loaded with baby tout right now, so easy to get bites on minnows or darker swim baits. One of the ponds at Reynolds was stocked with brown trout this year too. A little more challenging than the rainbows

I have also tried some trout fishing, almost got my first tiger. But I am looking forward to ice fishing season. Till then, I might just run into you on those trout waters.

We've been getting spoiled lately with all your videos catching lots of fish. Nice reminder that fishing is not always catching. Still enjoyed the video though.

Thanks, and it is an important point you make there. Not every trip will be epic, but that's just how fishing is.

I have been living in Manitoba for 30+ years and I have yet to experience a 'typical' Manitoba summer! Nice in mid November to remind ourselves of what leaves and green grass look like. You have not had much luck yet with pack-bait up here. They might not be used to it. In any case, I think there is still another week before the first snows, so I wish you happy fishing this coming weekend.

Thanks. I am excited for the ice fishing season. But I guess we are in for another not "typical" winter too. It seems that the only normal in Manitoba is that nothing is ever normal.

Well, I enjoyed the video. The fact that you didn’t exactly get what you were looking for, doesn’t mean that it is a good video. Well done with the catches you indeed made.

Thanks Joe, it is also important to show that it is not always a good fishing, but that does not mean it's not a good time.
