When Ice Fishing Goes Wrong

Well, I messed up. There is a lot that can go wrong out on the ice. Ironically, they have to go wrong before you can learn from it and test yourself. Follow along as I hit a couple bumps on my trip to West Shoal Lake. I hope you understand the problem and accept my Lockport video from fall as a replacement.

Man Vernon, you are learning all the tricks of the trade in that ice fishing. Glad you got your car out though. It did not look like there was a whole lot of help anywhere in the general area if you need help. But you know, we learned from our experiences. Take care, buddy.😊

Thanks Ralph, and even if it takes a while to get seen or noticed, most Canadians are super nice and helpful. Might have to wait several hours, but someone will swing by at some stage. That's the only reason I don't push my luck in more remote areas.

Sorry to hear you got stuck bud. I would have come pulled you out if I was out there. I’m going out on Lake Winnipeg Via Warner road if you want to come out tomorrow. Can drive out convoy style and help each other out. Can bring you to a friends shack in a spot they have been catching lots of big perch and nice walleye
