Two cops that were surprisingly pleasant. It makes a change though as most come over aggressive to start then mellow a bit when you start educating them on what you can or cannot do. Another good vid NNY, keep them up.

Only found out about this place a few months ago, when I noticed it was used as a filming location in a short film. I can't remember what short film however, as my computer decided to break and wipe the 1000s of films/TV shows/shorts/music videos etc that I had download, around the same time this video was uploaded.

Michael, you're at the coal face, I'm not, but I do wish you would pursue their reasoning for not following guidance in stating that they are recording, at the earliest opportunity, and you not letting it drop. There is NO reasonable reason why they should not follow the policy, unless they are on the path to corruption. The old saying is something like 'you can judge the mettle of a person by how they act when no-one is watching'. By not informing you that you are being recorded, when they should inform you, tells us a lot about their quality as a human. That's my take on it, for what it's worth.
This is the happy ending that I really do enjoy & why?...... because YOU were respectful to them, but even more importantly, once the two police officers realised you clearly knew your rights & could articulate them in a polite none aggressive manner, THEY were respectful in return. So very many others really NEED to follow their example. Top marks to the sergeant, a real gent & well done to the inspector for controlling his somewhat slightly detectable ego to not unnecessarily escalate a none event, many cops I've watched being audited would have struggled desperately to do what he did. My local police have no problems with drones, they have the biggest damn drone I have ever seen and use it a fair bit, can near it about 1/4 mile away.
