Great job ! It makes me wanna spear fish in the ocean. As a boy I did lots of fresh water spear fishing but low vis compared to this, and smaller fish. Fantastic video, great shots with the gun !
the depth we go is usually around 60-80 ft but sometimes we try shallower but the fish always seem really scared. and yes all the fish in the video are good to eat. thanks again ive been getting alot of good footage lately so hopefully i can get another video out soon
Yah I turn my gopro off pretty often when I get to the top to try and save battery haha but I'm working on the landing the fish clips. And the song is requiem for a dream by the crystal method
I like that your shots are timed with the music. I like the track even though it is a bit over-used in other youtube videos. Maybe show 'all' the fish you shoot unless it ripped off then put in "miss" or something. I made that mistake on my last vid... didn't show the "landed" shot after shooting the fish.
First video you say?...really really good job on it!!!!!...as for wen you holding the fish to the camera next time try face the sun so it lights up you and the fish more....lighting is the key...Lmao at the tiger shark, freaky wen they come out of no where like that...Nice wetsuit best one I ever owned...
Dude, Awesome shots! You hit them in the head everytime! Awesome shots! I have good days and bad days. I can only get head shots 60% of the time. You're a pro! Also, being new at video editing, you did pretty good job! I really like your video. If I had to give an advice to make it look, better I would say, better music (not bad but could be better) and after shooting the fish hold it and show me how big and nice fish it is. By the way, what was the depth?
I personally like my hammerhead guns better than the ones in this vid but as for spots on Oahu it's really hard to find anywhere good in shallow water it seems like now. You can try koolina it's pretty good there. And thanks mark
Hey sorry I missed all the comments for awhile now but the aimrite is a competition90, I think the difference between a 90 and a 100 isn't that big but I haven't shot a 100 in awhile now though, and yeah if I was starting off I think a good size gun would be a 90-100 cause a 60s don't have enough range. I have a 60 and I love it but you gotta get the fish so close
im trying to get into spearfishing and im 14 but i live on oahu, and do u have any recommendations for spots? and any tips for me? and also do u think i should get a reel on my speargun i have a 100cm hammerhead evolution speargun.
go with a 90. sixty is way too small. you want range because your bottom time ( no offense meant) and fish stalking skills might not be where they need to be to use such a up close and personal gun. 100cm is great for all around. and if you are a spelunker and dive in caves. just use only one band.
Great vid! Great fish too!
