      Yes, "cheating" is an adjective: cheating husband, cheating taxpayer, cheating politician, cheating President. I should have filled the space with "cheating" as an adjective.

    Lying and stolen both are adjectives. The former is present articiple while the latter is past participle.
    How about stealing as a present participle?
