You may have heard of Ojuelegba in one of Wizkid's hit songs, but the Ojuelegba's popularity dates back to decades before the reign of the contemporary Afrobeat genre. However, Ojuelegba is even of the many iconic places in Surulere Local Government.
Sports, Entertainment, Politics, Surulere blends them all together to make an attractive neighborhood.
Located on Lagos Mainland, Surulere - a Yoruba word that literally translates to "Patience is profitable", plays host to federal and state assets.
The first of those assets that come to mind is the National Stadium.
One of the other iconic places in Surulere is the National Arts Theatre. The edifice, shaped like a military cap, sits on 23,000 Area (sqm)
