I want that dash for my 96 impala and would LOVE for you to make a complete video on how to install the wiring to the engine and where. Your video on the cluster odom fix was hella good worked like a charm
For cutting the glove box, plastics, or body panels, I use a pneumatic, reciprocating body saw. Easier to manuever and the kerf of the blade is thinner. Works well with double wall stuff too. Nic job!! I have a 69 Chevelle that I need to get going on.
You would think the dash company would make them with the glove compartment cut for Vintage Air. I cant speak for this but I cut plastic with a “No Melt” blade on my circular saw, you wont be able to cut the entire thing but you could make the large cuts. I had read you can install a wood blade in reverse to cut plastic but I havent tried it. BTW, it would be nice to have links to the parts you get.
I have the exact dash. I seen u didn’t wire up the plug the goes in back of the cluster. It’s a 3 wire Orange, Blue,Green. It plugs in under the left black cable. Does this need to be hooked up? What’s it for?

just look for the brown sending unit wire, and a good ground
