This is a really great box! Some people have been getting lackluster boxes recently, but this one has so many nice pieces, and you called it early on - an artistic box! The little bicycle handmade pin, and the almost antique bird compact pendants! Those (the bird pendants) look like something that would be in one of your auction hauls.

Hi Marilyn! What fun going through this box with you! Firstly, I really wish that the jewelry experts at Goodwill will realize that Mardi Gras beads are not jewelry. And secondly, that box was meant for you, with all those beautiful treasures in it! I loved the feathered bird portrait pendant, and also the paneled bracelet with the beach sea creatures. I live in a beach vacation area, so I love that! And that penny with the horseshoe that you wanted Barry to look at. I remember those when I was a kid!
I agree...Goodwill does have the draw backs but on the other hand if they knew too much I'm sure those pieces would be pulled out of the boxes. YIKES! I agree with this box being right up my alley. I loved that Sea Creature bracelet so much too. I guess us that love in the BEACHY areas just love that kind of thing. Thanks for watching!!
At 50:02, the stamped tin St Christopher/Mother Mary emblem has pointy prongs on the back. Can attach onto a car’s headliner, meant as a prayer for safe travel. My Dad carried a similar piece in his wallet as a WWII B-17 navigator - got him safely thru the war. I now carry my Dad’s piece in my own car❣️

Just to let u know I was a nursing student from the sixties and we had a pin for our caps like the gold one with the little chain designating our senior class. We still wore nurse caps back then and it went on one corner. Mine wa s similar and our graduation year
