@@HardGayMoose Well, my waiting proved fruitful because we had a police crackdown at my campus and I can now speak based on what I saw. The protesters have been peaceful for two weeks, then all of a sudden things escalated. They interfered with the usual activities last week as more than 200 gathered in an important area for the Natural Sciences (they blocked access to one of our facilities), some of them “reclaimed” a lecture building. You couldn’t walk around in that area, let’s be clear. The police came in and gave them the order to disperse- they had around 3 hours to do so. They didn’t, so the police arrested some of them. People need to understand that in a democracy every right has a limit, otherwise it is an anarchy (the right to life is the only one that doesn’t have limitations). It’s very sad that some of these kids got their future jeopardized for an exercise in futility.
I love the rights when they say we didn't do anything harm while the chain is up there broken windows is all around

You can't protest on a PRIVATE college campus without permission. Stick to public sidewalks. You can't vandalize a college campus. You can't attack a cop when they try to arrest your friends. You can't refuse to leave private property after being told, that's trespassing and it's an arrestable offense.
