Hahaha you got ballz for uploading this! I like the part where you got up and just rode off like nothing happened lol....Kuddos for keeping your cool! See you mañana chika!
Accidents happened and unfortunately we put our selfs in these situations .... I’m just glad that no one was injured and not too much damage was caused..... I’m glad you are ok. Please ride safely . I see a lot of motorcycle vs car incidents here a lot in California because the riders here in our state are allowed to lane split on the freeway/highway and it’s always the motorcycle rider who loses even if the had the right of way. God bless you .
Way to stay calm and cool about the situation, you seemed somewhat upset but still kept a cool head. You're safe and not badly injured and that's the most important thing. Ride safe out there Gaki!
I have anxiety watching accident videos, but amidst the joy and excitement of riding motorcycles lies the bitter truth that they're far, far more dangerous than being in a car. Thanks for posting this, Gaki. Hope you'll be alright (and #21 too).
Oh no Gaki-san! It's good thing you're ok.. I think the driver was the other one who tried to help get the bike up.. Anyway good thing no major damage.. plus nice reflex being able to stand up right away :)
Gaki, you are lucky that the only thing that broke was your clutch and some minor scratches on both vehicles. It could of been worse considering how crazy and chaotic the traffic and roads are in the Philippines. You are very brave riding under those conditions and watching you ride and splitting lanes and weaving through traffic gives me an uneasy feeling. Be careful and be safe I would hate to see you get seriously injured! We have no fault insurance here In Canada to cover incidents like this especially that he saw you and gave you a pass and you were in motion up to the moment you stop for a scooter that made you stop suddenly then he hit you. He didn't expected to stop in that case. Crazy traffic! You are lucky Gaki be safe out there!!!
Roads and Traffics are lot better in your country. You would met with tons of accidents and im sure you wouldn't even ride if you see Indian roads. You would be like No im not gonna enjoy on these indian roads.
Goooodnesss! I was freaking pissed off when he bumped you! But gaki, oh boy. I'm dumbfounded by the fact that you let the incident passed by like nothing happened! You could have sue him and all. Oh man 🤧😤😤 but the bottomline is atleast you're safe and still kicking! Be safe!
I hope everyone keeps this similar mentality. If everyone is okay and uninjured. We can all move on without arguements and unnecessary squabble. If there's anything i find necessary, is to remind people to be careful on the roads. Thankfully no one was injured and they were nice gents to help you out!
Glad to see that you are physically OK. Emotionally, that's another story. But like the true trouper that you are, this won't stop you from jumping on your bike again and doing things differently and safely. Happy riding and stay safe always!
Yes there’s no sense of fighting over it, especially on the middle of the road.., kudos to you maam, the damages(dnt knw if there are any) though.., might just be hard to move on from...
1) Check for any injuries/pain 2) Use your HP and take photos of the scene/damage immediately. 3) Exchange of contacts. 4) If repairs needed, contact your insurance within the same day and submit the video/photos.
kalmahan gaming👍🏽 maam gaki u just taught us a very valuable lesson it is to keep ur cool at all times haha. kasi pag madami pag iba yan dko lang alam nu mangyayari😁
Wow just like that! No harm no foul indeed.I was expecting you guys to exchange insurance, license info or at least phone number.Well I guess you weren't really hurt or no major vehicle damage to warrant further action. You were lucky and such a tough rider too.Don't ride when tired or fatigue.✌
Mam Gaki, i think you had every right to be mad and demand for the damages, as you have the ryt of way. Please if this happens again God forbid, do what is needed as that guy will say its ok coz i got away with it... ride safe mam
Mario OQUIAS it's about her time not money. Many southeast asian countries normally does what gaki did. Because sometimes it's a waste of time confronting them. She is safe so it does't matter
Here in the US we are required to have insurance. So you would exchange information and who ever was at fault would pay for the damage. I guess in the Philippines you don't have insurance. I think that driver did it on purpose.
Take care always ms gaki, be patient and always remember to be a defensive driver.. its his fault but still you fell, better be patient next time, we dont want to lose a lovely vlogger. Haha :)
Your so very very nice person Gaki because you did not freak out to that guy that bumped to you.. salute you ma'am but sad beacause of the damage of your KTM... Ride safe idol Gaki
Do not move vehicles in an accident. Get a traffic officer/investigator to make an accident report which includes all details/pictures, licenses, statements from both parties etc. Get a copy of the police accident report and file an insurance claim or give it to ur lawyer to file a case against the offending party. 😊
It was a simple accident guys and wasn't intentional if you ask me. The car driver thought Gaki would push through ahead and decided to move ahead. But if it happened to me, I wouldn't pick the bike up and let the LTO officer make a report first (sketch) regardless if I file a complaint or not - just to be safe. I work for a car company and had people tried settling it themselves and ended up being blamed for the damages - sad to say, if no report then nothing happened. Well, good thing nothing serious happened.
Any motorcycle rider in that situation would squeeze into that gap however the car driver should have made sure he wouldn't hit anybody before he moved. Glad you're alright. Ride Safe Ms. Gaki
You are too kind. You can actually ask the car driver to pay for the damages for your bike. You were already past through, except that you had to brake, and he had the line of sight to ensure you are through. Settlement through sharing of contact infos and best to file police blotter in case he denies responsibility to damage cost. Ride safe, dear!
Basag Productions, the car already stopped. There are no traffic lights or enforcer. He already saw Ms. Gaki pass through. Traffic enforcers will always put the weight of responsibility to the person who has visibility to the vehicle ahead.
Its always better to be a defensive driver especially sa motorcycle. Sa situation may kasalanan talaga ang driver but what i am pointing out is if patient lang si ms gaki not to force her way through the traffic di sia madidisgrasya,
So proud to see a biker liked u keeping real cool when u got knocked down.. I will be ordering a pair of handle guard to minimize the clutch n brake levers from braking from dat fall.. happy n safe riding! 👍👍👍
That dude should have waited for you to have cleared his path rather than anticipating that you will clear it anyway. He rear-ended your bike, you should have charged him for a new set of clutch levers making it a lesson of not making that same mistake again "Didn't even say sorry". Good thing only the bike got harmed not you. Ride Safe Gaki
Bryce Ilustre really? Whether or not there was traffic and whether or not he was not supposed to clog a lane, it was moving, youre not supposed to cut through moving traffic. Even if youre "in the right". Plus her speeding through almost caused a crash with another bike. Traffic doesnt stop just because you think others are in the wrong.
Bryce Ilustre im not a know it all, but i do how to and how not to ride when it comes to traffic. Not many people here do. And here you are talking about "making it a lesson"..... obviously not the kind of rider needed on manila roads.
Besides the clutch and the brake levers was there any damage done to the bike, please? Just curious. I’m so glad u escaped injury. Happy Riding. And did u practice lifting up your bike after this one 😅? We were taught this at a triumph off-road training camp. Very helpful. I’m enjoying watching your videos. Especially Coz I used to live in the Philippines and it is so good to see Clark and Manila and hear a filipino voice and accent :) I lived in Baguio city. I miss it. Peace. Johny (I ride a duke 390 too - 2016 model)
@@gakigirl i'm sorry for this late reply. yeah, the 390 is not so heavy to lift I guess. it does help to know the technique though :) and I live in india now. on these streets u need to expect Everything to happen. So, its very risky riding the 390s here. 3 of my cousin's biker buddies passed away on 390s, and so many more in this country. the power to weight ratio demands discipline and a little more maturity (to choose to refrain at times) as a rider than we end up having time for.. sad. but our bike culture is improving these past 2-3 years I feel. Thanks to youtube and ABS brakes and a general rise in quality of biking knowledge and discussion here. Lots of hope! :)
Here in Canada he would be charged and also at least he should pay the damages . Glad you're ok though Keep on ridin and keep the two wheels on the pavement.
I'm in Toronto and that would be a fight lol BUT I also live in DR part time and what you did there is proper... nobody got hurt was an accident keep on moving.
Everything seemed to be going well(making every light), then boom. Technically, the car bumped you after that motorcycle cut in front of you from the blind side. Oh well. At least you are Ok and did not go under the motorcycle. All good Ms. Gaki. Peace out.
JanggoMoto 1911 hahahaha youre kidding right? The motorcycle cut her off? She was cutting in between a moving lane of traffic. She almost hit that motorcycle. You really expect that car to sit in the middle of the road while everyone cuts in front of him? Its called patience. Youre supposed to wait for a lane to clear, not just start driving through it. Its crazy how no one sees her way obvious error of judgement which led to the bump.
@spades77seven, I respect all other opinions and no amount of debate will stop what already happened. Experience wise and current Philippine road rules, the one who bumped is the one who is at fault. I did not make that rule or came up with it, I experienced that first hand. The outcome can be argued or manipulated, depending on how the people in charge can twist it. That move was perfectly normal for a motorcycle rider, the next series of events was just unfortunate, but thankfully, all parties walked away no problem.
JanggoMoto 1911 ok..... the law is true but its a pretty bad law. I know a lot of people who hit reckless drivers and they were charged, not the one being reckless. Its not as cut and dry as you suppose. Plus as far as road rules go, you dont just cut through traffic moving perpendicular to your position, you wait for a clear lane.
Oh my! That was fast reflex u avoided injuries with that nasty fall...I hope this wouldn't happen again and if did, u should have a little talk with another party involved...take care always bhe!
Actually u can asked for compensation eventhough u had ur fault by not waiting the vehicles to pass 🤔🤔🤔 Anyway hope lesson learn and patience is the key 😁😁😁 RidesafestayYUPAKalways #icarewecaresotakecarealways
The driver didn't even apologize?? Ride safe Ms. Gaki! I'm on my second day of driving and I've been watching your videos to learn how to ride safely in the Metro specially since the places you drive by are familiar places, thanks and stay safe!
Ouch! I just bought a used Duke 390 with 1096 km on the odo and I hope this won't happen to me as I haven't really ride another bike for the past 11 years now. I've been in so many road accidents before so can I ride safely this time? I'm about to find that out in a couple of weeks time! But as Murphy's law states "whatever can go wrong, will go wrong". Bring it on! :D :D :D
You made a right choice for not arguing to that F*cking Car. Waste of time and can lead into a traffic "Maybe", Let it be, for me both of you has the Wrong moves😊 Keep safe 😊 youre riding a big bike, A heavy one, so, more INGAT😊
It's your fault for going through turning or crossing traffic. The other bike was just going along with the other cars when you emerged from the other side so it was he who you would've blindsided if you collided with him but you suddenly stopped so the car hit you instead when the driver thought you would have gone through already, but it was too late for him to break so he hit you. I don't think he did that on purpose like some are alleging here (those are serious accusations because he'd practically be psychotic to do that intentionally). Glad the car behind him didn't hit him with the sudden breaking. Also glad you're alright and hope it doesn't happen to you again. Take care.
Nah, i doubt it was on purpose too... I gotta stop squeezing into tight situations and be more defensive. Tho he already did stop and see me, i'd say both at fault. and I do hope there is no next time as well. Thanks for watching.
Braking is to brake as breaking is to break. Braking is what you apply to a motor vehicle to decelerate and ultimately to stop. Oh well, as long as you get the message through i guess. Pero next time if you feel righteous, spell check muna. Cringy 😔
Well, the car driver's eyes are in front of his head right? The motorcycle was able to squeeze past through the traffic it doesn't mean the car has the right to bump the motorcycle as punishment. Driver didn't even say sorry or at least check on the rider if she's alright. You have every right to throw shade at that prick.
the reason why u got bump coz the driver of the car was only focus at his left side thinking u had already got through..he didn't check u twice..it was ur fault btw..think advance and focus when driving..
Glad you're okay. I'm not sure how it's done in your country, but in North America we would have exchanged insurance details. You are wearing a helmet cam so you got proof of what happened.
Picking up new bike on march 31st. Unfortunately its not a duke 390. Cant seem to get one over here without it already being sold. I will give you a few good guesses
Hi Gakimoto. I'm wondering if you think it is ok for a woman who is new to motorcycles to start on a Duke 390 or not. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. TIA
nakakatuwa yung reaction mo you have a real good heart stay that way ms.gaki and be careful next coz now a days many irresponsible people can get drivers license without proper lessons and training. anyway stay safe!
It was his fault he wasn't going anywhere. Sometimes Filipinos are just too aggressive when driving. Since I am a foreigner driving in your beautiful country I just have to bite my tongue and smile. So far only accident was with a jeepney and I got very lucky. Glad you are okay Gaki. :)
ooooh nooo... glad you're ok too. True tho... in other countries, 1. keep the intersection open, 2. Full Stop. I guess I just have to ride more defensively. :)
This is the perfect example of a how a rider should be, douchebags with scooters or underbones will have already have acted otherwise. Glad you're safe.
Good thing is, wait...let me rephrase that, coz' there's nothing good about dropping a bike. What I meant to say was, at least you don't have that much plastic on your bike, same scenario with... say, my Honda CBR1000RR? It would have cost me a pretty penny to replace those fairing. Hope you're OK. If you love to ride crotch rockets, you have to accept the inherent danger that goes with owning a rice rocket. If it's any consolation, you've just earned another subscriber. Hope to see more vid, or more to the point, hope to see more of you :)
Just got done watching your other vlogs. Your vast knowledge of bikes , crotch rocket in particular is quite impressive . You fired up that S750 and you go "Inline-4!" I went "Damn, she knows crotch rocket lingo!...I'm in love!" not literally, of course :}lol ...Watch my short vid me working on my Repsol 750. The leg brace thingy I have to wear after a massive wipe out on my dirtbike. I'll be a monkey's uncle if I didn't messed up that bike :)lol. Love your "21!"
You didn't stop and report the accident? They never apologized. Was there damage to the car & bike etc. Could it be that they could report you for running away or were you both OK to carry on? - Sorry about the accident, stay safe.
good to know you're okay gaki.
Did the car driver helped you in picking up the bike? I thought he did, cuz the car's door were opened. Anyway, that was cool, you just left. Haha ride safe always miss Gaki.
That's the real fighter...being bump, got up as if nothing happened...ur a cool lady I love the way u deal with things....anyway both of u got scratched...
Too bad you freaked out, gaki. Next time when you got hit like that, dont move the vehicles first, take a picture and talk to the driver for arrangements, ask for his license and other info; also, first and foremost, call the authorities to mediate between the two parties. Have a safe ride everyday 😊
I got clipped last summer, nothing serious because I was fine but my bike suffered a broken foot peg and gear shifter. The guy took full responsibility and bought those parts back. Yep lesson learnt friend. P.S. I am getting a new bike soon, will post videos. ;)
Take care and pray always before taking a ride. Knowing that you have fallen your bike 2x already, I'm gonna create my own frame slider (CNC made) much longer so that it will not hit the handlebar and the levers. Makes me cringe and at the same time be more cautious.
i thought you are supposed to exchange info -- driver's license/insurance. and get witnesses' info in case there is a dispute. does this work in the US only? anyway, glad to know you are ok.
yea, it's supposed to be like that here too... But my first time in 8 years. I figured, since we were both ok, I'd move on. But now, I know better. Thank you Ellis.
I'm happy to see that you weren't hurt and most importantly, stayed calm and cool. A little upset but still cool. Be careful out there Gaki.
Thank you Clutch.

Glad you and 21 are OK. great meeting you today, I was at the moto meet up, but spent the time chatting with Mr Gakimoto at the fairgrounds track.
The his and hers vlog! Nice meeting you both. Just discovering your channel. See you more often!
I'm just glad you're ok. Pls be careful. Pls stay away from situations like that
The guy who hit you should be the first to help. Plus he should pay the damages.
Very impressive how you handled the situation. Glad you weren't hurt.
Oh shit be careful Gaki... I just had crash of the century though lol. Get those knuckle guards... They saved my clutch lever.
Got em new power parts. hehe
GakiMoto Hehe yeah! Use em.
Yuppp.. dat guard is a must..
Gonzales🏍🇵🇭😂😭😱😨📹
Gaki I'm very glad you didn't get hurt. Ride safe always and I hope you never have another accident. Take care, Peace..
QTM!!! Haven't see you in a while. Thank you. :)
I thought you handled it well. No point in "big dealing" it - there was enough blame for all. And as you said, a good excuse to go lever shopping.
Glad to see that you are physically OK. Emotionally, that's another story. But like the true trouper that you are, this won't stop you from jumping on your bike again and doing things differently and safely. Happy riding and stay safe always!

Thanks man! Yea, the traffic is cray. Best to get out of the city. :)

Plus as far as road rules go, you dont just cut through traffic moving perpendicular to your position, you wait for a clear lane.
spades77seven no, still the one who bumps is liable.
Oh my! That was fast reflex u avoided injuries with that nasty fall...I hope this wouldn't happen again and if did, u should have a little talk with another party involved...take care always bhe!
Learning. Will do next time, but I hope there is no next time. :)
Gaki! I'm on my second day of driving and I've been watching your videos to learn how to ride safely in the Metro specially since the places you drive by are familiar places, thanks and stay safe!
thanks for watching! :)
@@gakigirl Ride safe and hope to see you on the road :)
He already saw you in front of him WTF! Some people should not be driving cars.
:D
Yes you are right. Fucking shit that car.
Badcat Gatomalo that’s true. What will happen will happen. Much luck badcat
Thank you very much. :)
You made a right choice for not arguing to that F*cking Car. Waste of time and can lead into a traffic "Maybe", Let it be, for me both of you has the Wrong moves😊 Keep safe 😊 youre riding a big bike, A heavy one, so, more INGAT😊
glad you did not get hurt gaki, and no serious damage to your bike
van Turner thank you! How's your bike?
now it has a blown timing cover gasket :(........ been waiting a month for repair
Mario Antonio the rule let motorized/pedestrian full pass in front of you before you move, Gaki was hit on her rear!
the reason why u got bump coz the driver of the car was only focus at his left side thinking u had already got through..he didn't check u twice..it was ur fault btw..think advance and focus when driving..
It could have been worse. I'm glad you are ok.👍🏽
thanks Run! :)
Glad you're okay. I'm not sure how it's done in your country, but in North America we would have exchanged insurance details. You are wearing a helmet cam so you got proof of what happened.
pretty much the un-edited video...
Picking up new bike on march 31st. Unfortunately its not a duke 390. Cant seem to get one over here without it already being sold. I will give you a few good guesses
any clues?
Na alala ko tuloy binunggo ako ng isang lola habang ako naka hinto lang sa intersection kala daw niya naka preno na siya 😂😂😂
omg! lol! she gets a senior pass.
Nag kwentuhan lng naman kami habang pinalitan yung fender nabiak kasi 😂😂😂
You live to fight another day GM, so all is good in the biking world. 🏍
That was intentionally did that. I would've made them pay and whooped his ass ! Haha.
uh oh!
Chris Settree more than 1000....
@@yeahrightmate same ganyan din nasa isip ko base on my 20 years of driving
Well have all been there. After all you're ok and that's what counts. You can always get a new clutch lever. Cheers.
#truth
be carefull idol..
Salamat.
I'm impressed how you act cool and just say "badtrip" and laugh it out. 🤣 Ganto dapat astahan ng mabuting rider! ❤️
Sorry friend!!! Glad you’re ok!
Thank you. :)
Hi Gakimoto. I'm wondering if you think it is ok for a woman who is new to motorcycles to start on a Duke 390 or not. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. TIA
Should be fine. It's a light an manageable bike. :)
GakiMoto THANKS!
nakakatuwa yung reaction mo you have a real good heart stay that way ms.gaki and be careful next coz now a days many irresponsible people can get drivers license without proper lessons and training. anyway stay safe!
Awww thanks. :)
Kainis naman yun. Full stop. Should ask for the damage clutch lever?
I wish I could still...
Safe driving gurl next time hays tlaga mga peeps na yan
I knew it was gonna happen.. next time gaki pray always before drive! Just I said always to you! Be safe always! 😢👍
ronie gajisan you knew it was gonna happen?...dude, you “knew”?!.... damn dude is crazy
just look at the accident , quite easy to predict what happen
That Sucks Gaki! Glad Your Ok!
Thank you Justin. :)
The driver didn’t even bother checking if you’re okay?! I’m glad that you are, always ride safe Gaki! Salute to the guy who helped you.
nope... and also to the funny smiling guy who walked by. hahaha
GakiMoto Haha atleast manong was there to lighten up your mood a bit. 😅
GakiMoto i think the driver did go down to check on you , pero iniwan mo sya eh lol😁
he didn't say anything tho... but oh well... it's done na.
Hey Gaki hope you and the duke are ok I am from Australia I was in Manila 3 weeks ago shit is it hot love your videos little Dude
Lol!!! Yea the heat isn't bad yet... summer is just beginning. Thank you for watching my vids, hope ya stick around. :)
Yes, that is a ticket if you are blocking the intersection when traffic is not moving. At least it is here. :)
This is the perfect example of a how a rider should be, douchebags with scooters or underbones will have already have acted otherwise. Glad you're safe.
Glad your ok, by the way can you make a review of the new kawasaki vulcan s
There's a new one? I'll check with Kawasaki. :)
Be careful next time. Shit happens. Handled it pretty well. Btw, i like your vids. More power!
Awww thanks for watching!
Oh my! Thank God that you are okay ma'am Gakimoto
The moment you said you can't Pick your bike up, i was like, damn this girl is cute. :D
Made my day. :)
Ride safe!
+Áron Etl I actually can. Lol. But if anyone wants to help, it’s appreciated
dude that was so unexpected.... so glad you kept your cool..
thanks man. :)
oh my God!!! Drive safe always Gaki..
Gracias!
ingat next time.. class act.. kuddos GAKIMOTO, kung sa iba yun away kalye na.
Thank you. :) hehe It is consolation!
Well, I got it all on video. Guess it's coz we're both ok. :)
Nice seeing you at the Bike Fest earlier! Stay safe lagi :)
Yiiii! Ya gotta see my new levers! hehe
GakiMoto woohoo! OEM or aftermarket?
Glad your safe 👍🏼 and staying Positive.
Hell yea!
good to know you're okay gaki.
Yea. Kala mo they see you, but maybe they don't. #ridesmart
Saw this when you posted it on IG. Good thing you're ok. Sayang nabali yung clutch lever. He should have paid for it.
Glad you're not hurt. Good job keeping your cool! Mapapalitan mo naman yung nasirang part ng bike mo. Keri lang yan. Always keep safe out there. 😊😊😊
Yea. moving on. :) Good vibes.
Did the car driver helped you in picking up the bike? I thought he did, cuz the car's door were opened. Anyway, that was cool, you just left. Haha ride safe always miss Gaki.
He was the guy in the back who semi helped...
I think he just touched 21's butt. Didn't even lift 21.
Greetings from San Francisco? Do you still have your 390 Duke? Noticed any damage?
Yes! She’s still all good after 3+ years
That's the real fighter...being bump, got up as if nothing happened...ur a cool lady I love the way u deal with things....anyway both of u got scratched...
Damn hope you ok. Be careful Gakigirl.
Thank you sir.
Too bad you freaked out, gaki. Next time when you got hit like that, dont move the vehicles first, take a picture and talk to the driver for arrangements, ask for his license and other info; also, first and foremost, call the authorities to mediate between the two parties.
Have a safe ride everyday 😊
In the future, I will be armed with this knowledge. Cheers!
Nice to know you are ok. You should definitely hold that person responsible and have your stuff replace.
Will do so if such happens again. First time in 8 years of riding... I know better now. :)
BTW magkano pala ung levers sa KTM BGC? Planning to get an adjustable one?
5k a pop. huhu :(
Well thank God you weren't seriously harmed Gaki!
Thank you. :)
Maam, gandang araw po. Kumuzta po ktm duke 390 mo? Wala po ba complaints sa makina or kahit anu? Ilang buwan na po ba Maam d390 mo? Thank you po.
9 months na po. Oks na oks pa rin. :)
How's your steering? Is it still aligned properly?
Yea, it's still good.
Good example na kapag wala naman masyado masamang nangyari is hayaan nalang or 'Kalma lang' .. Keep safe riding ..
Awwh man! Glad you're not hurt tho!
edit: how's you and the bike now? This was last week right?
All fixed na. :) and thank you.
GakiMoto That's good to hear :)
i thought you are supposed to exchange info -- driver's license/insurance. and get witnesses' info in case there is a dispute. does this work in the US only? anyway, glad to know you are ok.
yea, it's supposed to be like that here too... But my first time in 8 years. I figured, since we were both ok, I'd move on. But now, I know better. Thank you Ellis.
