Got my PE 16 some years ago. I'm not a high volume producer, but use a number of high end tools to help me work wood while using a wheelchair. Love everything about the tool. Bullet proof construction, easy to use and reliably accurate. I do use track clamps ( two) because I don't cut in one smooth motion, but must stop and reposition myself for longer cuts.
My parallel guides are red and do a good job after a learning curve, but after purchasing a number of TSO products, I wish I found the TSO guides first. Yes, I use your links whenever possible. I appreciate your content.

Definitely right about how good the anodizing is on the TSO guides. They always look pretty hanging in the shop. We’re all going to constantly find new possibilities for these things. You’re also right about not having to always use track clamps but the surface and grippy strip needs to be dusted off some. Works great on Makita tracks and the guides are on my list.

I purchased "The Red One" (adjustable angle) long before these TSO's were available and, honestly, I really wish I had one of these. So many times the adjustable angle of mine is slightly out of square that I obsess over checking it for each cut. Honestly, in as many years as I've had it, I've never cut anything but 90, or I'm just aligning my track with a scribe line for angled cuts.
