I find it crazy that it's cheaper for the new Shinkansen to be mostly underground. Normally that is far more expensive.
I initially thought the new Sydney tower was a little presumptuous in being called a mega project, but with no two rooms being alike, and that facade, it'll be a logistical and design nightmare!
I think of the selection, ITER is definitely my favourite and hope that it accomplishes its goals and runs to schedule so that the next step (DEMO) will prove its worth.
Very nice video, some great, huge projects. Top notch 👌🏼

Most of the infrastructure that are being build or improving helps the city and country and the citizen getting improved infrastructure like better public transportation, better waste management, better roads and more u can see it on Brazil, Beijing and South Africa.
There is a down size like big stadiums that left empty, but in todays world most of this new stadiums have various of uses like concert room, expo show room and even office stadium. And in the COVID-19 days hospitals.

People always think LA and NYC are the big, defining cities of the US, but fail to realize that Chicago is a globally-recognized city with a far better physical infrastructure than the two. If any city should be working towards expanding in the US, it is Chicago. I’m a little biased though because I have lived in this city all my life, but as a city, we truly have something profound to bring to the table

I really enjoyed the video. I would request the owner to introspect on why he felt necessary to mention about the controversies in Africa regarding the dam project when there are controversies surrounding each one of those projects . Generally, I have noted that it is difficult for most people to talk about engineering marvels in Africa or India without mentioning the downsides (even if the video is about engineering and not an in depth research on the pros and cons). Most times this happens subconsciously and the author is probably not aware of his / her biases. Requesting the owner of this video to introspect.
