I first installed a 507 system on my Journey in 2021, and it paid for itself on my first trip with it. A slow leak by my standards was showing a decrease in pressure of about 1 PSI every 5 minutes or so. I finally pulled over and checked the displayed pressure against a known good tire gauge and the loss of pressure was verified. Found a tire shop that got us right in, turned out to be a leaking valve stem. Had I not had the TST system I would have ended up in the UP of Michigan before I noticed the issue with the possibility of a blow out. My only complaint about the 507 is the brightness of the screen. Lots of daylight getting in through the windshield of my Class A and very hard to read the screen of the 507. Would have loved to seen a side by side comparison of the screen brightness of the 770 vs the 507
Missed you at Tampa today 1/18/24. We bought one for the ease of operation over the tried and true original model Eric set us up with at Hershey in 2018. it has nice features however 'the automotive teacher in me wonders if they are in there from legal at TST to track your speed, altitude, tire temperature and pressure for the legal blow out cases . Not that our Ford truck is not doing the same big brother monitor also. Big Screen and easier setting is a HUGE improvement. Thanks
HI Hervey! Glad Eric was able to set you up with the new TST 770 system. To answer your question there is not a tracking feature that reports your personal information to TST. TST doesnt have the servers or man power to monitor this data even if they wanted to. Anything transmitted to your device is for your eyes only.
Not covered in ANY TST 770 video I have watched. Nice unit. It can take up to TWENTY minutes for the device to recognize your tires once powered up. Don't think the device "forgot" your pairing (Learning) when you turn it off. You must give it time to reconnect with the tires.
Thanks Eric, for the Awesome videos for your product line. I have ordered the new monitor, and heard that the windshield mount may not be as strong where it attaches to the windshield.
It would have been better if the screens were shown. Also he mentioned how many trailers it can be used with. I would rather know how many tires it can monitor.
Eric, I love working with your employees and viewing your narratives 👏👏👏👏great job. My recent purchase from Techno RV is a 770, since then I’ve been looking for a updated video install for the 770. I am a technology dinosaur and need all the help I can find.
I recently purchased the TST 770 tpms with the flow thru sensors. Charging the display, can you use an ac adapter with USB port like we charge our cell phones?
We offer 4 and 6 sensor kits for both the Cap and FT systems. With the TST 770 system you can add as many sensors as you will need and we offer those in packs of 2 and 4 sensor packs.
Hi Eric. Is 25% above max realistic? I'm running 80 cold which is max for the cold tire pressure. I see the max getting around 96 when the tires are hot. I'm just trying to avoid a high pressure blowout. Appreciate any comments. Thanks!
Anything over 25% is concerning and not considered normal under regular conditions. If your cold air is set at 80 psi than 25% above would be 100 psi. As long as you stay within that threshold you are operating under normal conditions. I hope this helps.
@@Technorv I just received my 770 from TechnoRV, and it isn’t a great fit in the 507 cradle. Under acceleration it tips over, which is kind of frustrating. I’d prefer not to use the suction cup mount. Do you know if the manufacturer plans to do a cradle mount specifically for the 770?

Another update on my comments about some features of the new TST 770 monitor related to the windshield and dash mounts. The TH-cam channel was Brazen Brits that made the comments on these features.
Changing the batteries in your TST sensors is easy so no need to worry. You will use the sensor wrench that comes with your system and use it to hold your sensor in place then turn the top to loosen the cap. This will reveal your battery. Pull out the old and install the new one tighten the cap back down and you are good to go.
How to program for a class A with a tag axle and flat tow with 4 on the ground? The included instructions don't show any of this. Guess I need a teenager to figure this part out. 😅
An update on my previous comments on the TST 770 windshield mount not having the same good hold to the windshield as the TST 507 mount has, and the dash mount doesn't hold very well. This observation was made and posted on TH-cam by Brazen Bits.
It is too bad they didn’t keep the “auto on/off” function when connected to a switched 12v source. For those of use who pretty much keep it on the dash - the 507 would simply turn on when the truck started and auto shut off when the truck was shut down. I am finding myself forgetting to turn the new 770 off (and sometime on).

I was hoping this would actually be going through the display as you talked about it.

Will it fit in the cradle mount of the 507? Also is there a ‘sun screen’ cover available?
Yes it will fit in the cradle mount! There is not a sunshade for this unit just yet.

does the repeater that came with the 507 work automatically with the 770?
yes!
How does the screen appear while wearing polarized sunglasses? How does the screen appear while wearing non-polarized sunglasses?
