I drive a truck for 60-70 hours a week and to be totally honest, I have no idea at all why I then get home on a Friday and watch vlogs of drivers doing what I have spent the week doing. I just love the different perspective from other truckers. Your personality and honesty and enthusiasm for the trucking trade (which I share btw) also makes it addicting watching. For me I wouldn’t change a thing mate, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. Keep on trucking pal
Im a frequent watcher even though Im not a trucker. I like to see a guy that knows what he wants and goes and gets it through hard work and being a bloody nice guy at the same time. Top class banter and chit chat plus some good usefull info for new guys in the trade.
Hi Deady Garry Mcphee here great vlog loved the drive along the motorway and the very long reverse up to the site. I watch your v logs because as you know I am pursuing an hgv career driving the lorries although we are still in lock down your v logs have been helping me in retaining info on hgv driving. Plus your a great guy you never fail to make me laugh you always add humour to your v logs and your always cheery it puts a great light on lorry driving and in turn makes me feel positive about hgv career as well. As for music I love the old trucking country greats like C. W. MCCALL CONVOY. Johnny paycheck, Johnny fender and many more nut I also enjoy your instrumental music in your v logs as well. Please keep them coming as they help and full of fun hope your grand Deady stay safe God bless
I watch them to listen to your ramblings ! Better than watching TV to relax. Not keen on time laps. Dad was a HGV driver and I used to go with him so nice to see scenery again. Just be you mate, it’s fab
wow that bought memories back ,used to run re bar into that factory and always park at the end of the run way for my brake and watch the Jets taking off , took a load of re bar on to Lakenheath once and remember the officer on the gate insisting on the ppe i was to wear and must have ear protection cos it gets very loud with the Jeys where we was unloading , it was great watching them go off in pairs , stay safe
As a driver, then a PT, then a driver again and now a trainer I watch a lot as I’m not out on the road as much as I used to be. I do like your training and dietary info, it’s something which I think is really helpful for quite a few people. Also loading and strapping vids are a great help to all, and not just new drivers. Keep it all going buddy
I watch to get a feel for what I want to do when this zombie apocalypse is sorted. I've passed my class 2 but I'm struggling to get on both cpc 2 and 4. I live in St. Helens but used to live in Runcorn and Liverpool, so I like seeing familiar roads and general area, from a truck driver POV. I think your a great bloke and genuinely like listening and watching your adventures. You'll never please everyone so just keep doing what your doing. 👍🏻
After the live stream this morning I think I have OD'd on you. Hope you made it back home tonight! Love the way you do your vlogs. Not too short, but not too long and nice to see where you are driving to as we listen to you talk.
I like your content the way it is. Not bothered about the music or the views. I enjoy listening to you . I don’t even watch it all the time. As with other channels sometimes I just put phone in pocket and listen while I work. Don’t change your style.
I just like watching because of the reversing, the driving, the chatter, and the point of view from you. Love the head can too And I miss Premier Inn all you can eat breakfasts, and any place that does a Sunday roast with unlimited veg's and unlimited drink refills.
Since you ask, I watch these trucking vlogs because I find it really nice listening to what you have to say, its informative, interesting and amusing. I love watching the real-time footage of the road out the window too because its nice to see the world go by, I much prefer real-time footage with you talking in the background to time-lapse. I dont find many other trucking vlog channels do that as much. Showing the loading and unloading of loads is just as interesting too.
I' m from Australia,( no I don't drive road trains) FM Volvo and single trailer and the comments made by Stephen Williams just about sums it up for me. I drive 60-70 hours a week also and I love to get a coffee and watch your vlog when I get home. It is relaxing in a weird way and a laugh too. My wife thinks there is something wrong with me after spending so much time in the truck and watching other truckers!! Don't change anything.
YOU'RE A LEGEND, GARETH!!! SERIOUSLY!!! Mate, I can listen to you waffle all freking day. To answer ur questions: I would like a little bit of everything so timelaspes, waffling, POV, scenery, etc.
Reason i watch is im desperate to get my HGV done when its possible again 21 and stuck in a dead end security job where the only good thing is admiring the beauty's of trucks that come onto site hoping one day soon i can do that.. top bloke to watch as well mate Brilliant vlog as well by the way POV was spot on ... love lakenheath always down there so great to see that in a truck vlog.. your videos just keep getting better and better mate thanks!
@Deady2012 I watch your vlogs for what they are (Comerdy, informational, timelapse, general chat and how you show life as a HGV Driver) and simply I enjoy your personality.
The reason I watch truck vloggers is because I love the content they produce its different on day to day basis and for like you deady and trucker Jay my days brighten up when you or Jay posts and by the way my dad used to fix trucks for a living lol
I watch for the craic and to see your way of doing this job. I haven’t driven LGV FOR 20 years and it’s nice to see your enthusiasm and kindness in ur video. Kept it up. Rich😊😃
It’s a good idea to take it easy on the coffee, it’s really not good for your stomach in the long term. I sadly speak of experience. I enjoy listening to you waffle on, it kinda keeps me company in my cab as I chew though the miles of railway tracks. I’m person not a fan of the POV, but I do like time lapses, especially views taking with part of the cab interior visible, gives a feel of riding along or something like that.. Tom (expect for access) is rather good at these time lapses. But most of all, just keep up the waffle ;) Don’t mention Wetherspoons breakfast man! Oooh I miss that and a British pint of just about anything right now. Covid has kept me out the uk for over a year now, miss me mates and family. Stuck on the continent... Cheers from Belgium
I am was a truck driver for 30 years till 3 years ago when I had a car accident not my fault lost my job as i couldnt give a return to work date so watching you keeps me in touch with trucking. Dont know if my back is going to let me get back behind the wheel. Egg and black pudding sandwiches are cracking buddy. F15 strike eagle 494th fighter squadron. Yep brilliant sounds. I live near Alconbury in Cambridgeshire we used to have the big spy planes there and phantoms years back around there too
I love.your vlogs, i watch them as a non trucker, in fact a paramedic for the banter, seeing you explore lovely bits of the country and seeing how other people show the love for their jobs, like you challenging loads and reverses etc Cheers again
Wow,really enjoyed the vlog mate, nice filming of the jets, the lady seemed to be very chatty.Nice piece of reverse work mate, seemed to be going on forever.Stay safe and keep on truckin'.
A bit of everything mate as it’s a good insight as Luke and jay show random things like strapping, connecting trailers etc and good inspiration to a lot of us
I live very near Donna Nook, which is close to Immingham Docks, and the jets are over my garden frequently. Doesn't matter how many times I see them, I still stand and watch. Sometimes there are 4 going round and round firing at the targets out on the salt marshes.
I love watching your vlogs for the trucking and your daily rants. I like the time lapses but love the manoveurs in a truck. Your vlogs pushed me to get my class 2 just waiting till the new baby is a bit older then class 1 and trampling can't wait. Cheers deady lad.
I watch you cause your real, funny and entertaining, I dont actually think you know how good you are at this and your job, just keeping doing what your doing, your subs are telling you how good you are fella,, keep safe mukka 👍
Love the videos. You asked what I like (everything) but not fussed on the time lapses. Would like if possible to see more loading shots, but love the driving shoots equally. I love watching the video’s, I always wanted to be a HGV driver and spent all my teenage years going with the local haulage firm. My Dad however (bless him) had other ideas. It all worked out well 😁 I now tow a caravan in the UK and all over Europe, it’s my HGV. Keep the videos coming. Stay safe Ron.
I watch your vids mainly for your content based on your experiences driving and what to expect for what new drivers can expect. I started watching you from the start with your theory test and driving test. Along with Luke C, you have shown a lot of content the experienced drivers leave out. Your content is down to earth and relatable. I hope to get my test done soon once this virus leaves up here in Ireland and hope to be trucking this year. Keep up the good work and keep the content coming 👍🚛🚛🚛
I watch for your take on the industry and your comedy ramblings, in the industry myself, still trying to find the right job, I’ll keep trying different jobs within the industry until I find my happy place
I’ve stopped there a few times. Lakenheath is mainly used by the USAF. Military aircraft don’t really do it for me. I like general aviation and airlines. A good place to stop is in the lay-by by the petrol station on the southern perimeter road at Heathrow. They’re usually fine with you stopping there for a bit as long as you don’t take the piss. 👍
Love the fact you had your break at lakenheath mate. You should come behind the scenes with aviation in action for the day you will absolutely love it!!
Deady my friend, I have watched your videos from The start, iv spoke to you on instragram, give you directions around Oswestry to the waste water works and now after watching your journey from Doing your class 2 training to now working for WS iv have now sent off for my d2 and d4 and got prices in place for doing my class 2 and class 1 straight after. So from going to passing you in my transit jumbo doing parcel deliveries hopefully at some point this year I’ll be driving a class 1 thanks to your inspiration. Keep up the videos and inspiring others to better themselves as much as you have already
Hey deady as a sidlined driver i just like watching all the roads plus even though ive bn at the job for more than 20 years now i still enjoy ur daily life . Seeing how u do the job . I never did much motorway driving as i was on timber transport i spent a lot of my time in and near forrests miles from civilisation lol so i like watchin a different job all the best deady drive u take care stay safe .
Hi Deady, I have been following you, but have not left any comments, as things have been very hard for me recently, with the loss of my brother, and my Mum and now I have just lost my Dad on the 28 of last month, but just watching you reminds me that my life is not over yet, I have been very low this year with life, covid has not helped much, I am trying to look on the bright side, but at the moment I don't see it, keep up the good work mate, my rant is over ...
Hi deady, I watch you because I’ve always loved trucks, and doing my class 2 soon. Love it when you do reversing clips, unloading clips, and general chit chat, and I love trucks obviously 👌🏼
excellent vlog Deady as I watch them as I think you are "mad as a box of Frogs" too as you give us all entertaining vlogs to watch, keep up the good work and don't change how you do them
Funnily enough i spoke to you today about why i watch your vlogs, because you are a class lad and you make people piss there pants, great personality mate you seem dead down to earth and also to learn some tricks of the trade. Keep it up son your doing brilliant! Also watching your vlogs is like being down the pub with your mates, good gab on you feels like your having a conversation. (Edit) keep waffling shit mate we love it!
I ain’t drove trucks for about 10 months been running a local gym but obviously out of work now get itchy feet glad to see fellow driver who also watches nutrition and training
I watch truck vlogs in general because I love trucks I love a pov and chat preferably than just staring at the back arses of cars while some one talks when the camera is at the front window I also like truck blogs Becuase truck driving is such an underated need in life and skill nobody understands the skill involved in driving one of them is unbelievable people will always thinks it’s just staring at a motorway all they unless they try it for themself
An excellent reverse . You are really showing me the true life of lorry driving , effect reverse well done. I am disabled in a wheelchair and housebound so I do is play games to pass the time. Does film that you will get arrested.
I watch your vlogs because my hubby used to drive for Gregory's from Exeter to Coventry Mon-Fri, but can no longer do it. Also enjoy your 'waffling', and loading, strapping & unloading (If you can). The view from the other camera (presumably headcam) is fine. Well done, that was a very long reverse. Take care, drive safe & stay safe
Good morning Deady, I can't believe you was at Beaconsfield services and I am only in High wycombe, I would of come and said hello , there will be alwsys a next time , keep safe , love your vloggs 👍👍
Aw man, yes. Yes, well missing having a cheeky pint with mates - not a huge drinker but so good to go to the local, couple of pints of hogs back best. Also, strange but true re a spoons breakfast! Great seeing the jets doing touch and go’s - think you won a new subscriber there too! Next time you go to Wigtown, look out for the book shop! Go in and ask if Nicky is still foraging in skips!
@@Deady2012 the guy who owns the bookshop had a member of staff called Nicky who foraged in skips and wore a one piece ski suit in cold weather. He has written two funny books about life in the shop!
I love to watch your vlogs to hear your chatting, and I just love the driving and keep up the POV and reversing cams. And maybe some loading/unloading if it's possible...
Hi l just like your video and my dad was a truck driver and my mate was a truck driver so have good unstanding what gos on thanks again take care keep safe 😊👍🏻
Another great video I’ve watched all your videos since you passed your class 2 as I am currently going through the process of doing my HGV. Be great to see some more vlogs of strapping the load and POV. Keep up the great work 👍
Hey mate I’m an ex tramper myself and miss that world so it’s good to watch it through someone’s else’s eyes you are informative and funny at the same time and I really enjoy watching and listening to you I’m my opinion keep doing what your doing with bits of everything. Your doing a fantastic job as you are. Keep it up and stay safe 👍👍
Nice video, quite enjoyed the head camera video shots, think we see more of what’s around you. Decent shots out at the air base am not jealous at all 🤔
I watch your blogs every Saturday morning pal. Been watching u since January 2020 as I was doing my class 2 lessons. Passed in March just b4 lockdown 👍🏻. Waiting on work put me tho class 1 hopefully in April. Would like maybe some training advice in blogs. Keep up the great blogs and stay safe pal.
I watch your videos because there’s no shit with what you say. Saying it straight and giving people who are wanting to become HGV drivers a real experience of it. You’ve shared how you get paid and the different ways you can. You give what your subscribers want and more. Keep on trucking my man
I watch you videos because since I was a lad I've loved lorries my dad was a driver. I love your reaction to the jets. I spent most of my working life on military jets including 25 years in Saudi the base I worked on had F15s like those they are the strike version and have 2 crew a pilot and Weapon System Operator who does the bombing the single seat ones are more air superiority fighters but they can bomb as well. Although getting old they are still awesome jets and there has never been one lost in combat
I live in a town outside bath calles trowbridge, the area around bath and the city its self is absaloutly beautiful, sucks that the bridge to get onto London Road now has a 18T weight limit
All off the above ! Bit of both 🙂 suggestion ! General trucking news of the haulage business and maybe truck s just a suggestion I'll watch anyway wat ever is on 👍
Usaf f15e strike eagle's, few mile west is usaf milldenhall where the big tankers and cargo planes are! Spend alot of time there! If you go 20mins North is raf Marham where the new f35s are!
I watch your vlogs for the shear enjoyment! You’re a good laugh and make the job interesting! I’ve seen some vloggers that are dire to watch but you are cracking mate 👍🏻🚛
Started watching your HGV training videos because I'm planning on becoming a truck driver and wanted to see a bit of how it is (even though the training is pretty different here in Norway, but try finding a norwegian truck vlogger...), THEN I wanted to watch your day to day working videos with the multi-drops and all that fun stuff, and now you're suddenly part of my super friday youtube extravaganza. In shorter terms, do anything you want baby, I don't mind skipping right over some timelapses!
I watch your videos as a bricklayer that has a keen interest in the hgv world. I have been gradually doing theories/medicals since coming across your videos during this 'zombie apocalypse' 🤣 maybe this is the year I will be able to hang up my tools and get driving full time 👍
I enjoy your interaction with the camera an people. Your the reason I follow you. Your honest an I honestly believe that when the camera is off you are as crazy as you come across.
Mate this channel is blooming brilliant I hope one day you come to Ireland you are a really funny and great guy you make the truckers loo, good fair play I like every video you make keep safe soilder 👍👍👍👍👍👍🤪🙋♂️😎 Ps was the lady in the car single 😎🤫🤔🤔🤔🤔
Loved this vlog as this is out my way my quarry supply’s the company next door to the place the bridge was picked up from and there’s a strong chance of the place the bridge was collected
I like watching your day how it goes. I.e loading. unloading. Reversing....... and the camera pov on your head is good sometimes.. also when parking on a bay or something
Hi mate been watching you for a while now must say this was a good one especially at Lakenheath I do like jets I believe the ones you were watching were either F18s or F14s the American Airforce has some Awesome Air Power look forward to the next one
I watch you cus ur inspiring ur funny always caring for others and if I have nowt else to watch i always have ur vids as a back up and I watch you cus you taught folks at the tesco RDC how to use the security and thank you deady ur the best
I watch for enjoyment Deady, not allowed to drive trucks (short sighted in my right eye, same reason i fluffed the army medical, wanted to join the R.E.M.E (royal electrical and mechanical engineers)). Ant way another great Vlog and those F15's were awesome.
I watch your vlogs to listen to you general "chit chat" as you drive. You are amusing and witty to listen to and it is entertaining.
I second that
Agreed, Out of the truck vloggers i watch, He's the most entertaining
Yes 100% agree him and Ned Kelly ireland two top men on not giving a shit what they say makes it better to watch
The reason I and others watch, is YOU, your fun,mad interesting, knowledgeable, skilled at what you do, and entertaining
Legend Bro! Thanks so much!

In regards to what kind of planes you saw, from what I can see of them, I would say that they look like F15 Eagles. Impressive none the less!

Tanker jets in the distance mate at Mildenhall they fuel the F15s out off lakenheath. Spent time there spotting, love the sound. Great video as always
I watch your videos for your personality and some added info here and there. I'm not a fan of the timelapses, but POV sections are good.
I like watching trucking logs as it shows what goes on in the job , the chit chat and the different loads there are
Wow,really enjoyed the vlog mate, nice filming of the jets, the lady seemed to be very chatty.Nice piece of reverse work mate, seemed to be going on forever.Stay safe and keep on truckin'.

You spoke to me today? Whatttt hahahaha!?
Thanks for watching though! And thanks for your positive feedback mate!
@@Deady2012 well it was yesterday hahah!
I watch them because your a genuinely nice lad and there’s no bullshit with you
Wow you were like a kid in a sweet shop hearing the planes bloody love that sound
Just keep doing what you've been doing. I really love watching the landscape flowing past, so jealous as I can't get around due to this lockdown.
Great video deady
I like a bit of everything including timelaspes and POVs too
Loving the video's mate and the jets are F-15C Eagles by the looks of them😎
What a driver nice reversing down that road to the building site lad!👍🏻
Hahaha whos nicky? Lol!
Deffo miss being able walk into a pub and have a pint!
@@Deady2012 the guy who owns the bookshop had a member of staff called Nicky who foraged in skips and wore a one piece ski suit in cold weather. He has written two funny books about life in the shop!
I watch all your blogs mate nothing needs changing a wee bit more of what you load mate keep going with the blogs🏴
Brilliant watch again deady👍Love the headcam footage gives a proper POV of the driver👍
I watch your blogs because I like your videos and good to watch
A really interesting vlog and I love your chat, great reversing manoeuvure and super jet footage. Trust you to get chatted up during lockdown !!
I enjoy your videos and a bit of both really showing loads reversing and anything really
I love to watch your vlogs to hear your chatting, and I just love the driving and keep up the POV and reversing cams. And maybe some loading/unloading if it's possible...

Another great video I’ve watched all your videos since you passed your class 2 as I am currently going through the process of doing my HGV. Be great to see some more vlogs of strapping the load and POV. Keep up the great work 👍
Deady I agree Bath is beautiful int middle of it and so is Cheltenham beautiful int middle of it especially when your in a truck
Decent shots out at the air base am not jealous at all 🤔
Just found your channel Deady. Your a nutter your explanations of anything and everything are awesome keep mixing it up. And keep on trucking LOL
Keep on trucking my man
Cheers buddy
I have been gradually doing theories/medicals since coming across your videos during this 'zombie apocalypse' 🤣 maybe this is the year I will be able to hang up my tools and get driving full time 👍
Your videos are always on the north side of fab. I find filming driving down the roads quite soothing .
I enjoy your interaction with the camera an people.
Your the reason I follow you. Your honest an I honestly believe that when the camera is off you are as crazy as you come across.
Mate this channel is blooming brilliant I hope one day you come to Ireland you are a really funny and great guy you make the truckers loo, good fair play I like every video you make keep safe soilder 👍👍👍👍👍👍🤪🙋♂️😎
Ps was the lady in the car single 😎🤫🤔🤔🤔🤔
Yet another great post Deady and to see two F15's at RAF Lakenheath. Not really jealous honest.
What a brilliant video u done good cheers buddy. Trev from Blackburn

I watch for enjoyment Deady, not allowed to drive trucks (short sighted in my right eye, same reason i fluffed the army medical, wanted to join the R.E.M.E (royal electrical and mechanical engineers)). Ant way another great Vlog and those F15's were awesome.
Hi mate great video as per usual 👍Those overspeeds are nowt to worry about unless you do over 60 mph .Weatherspoons breakfast with a pint😋
On the M40 there is spot that has a distinctive smell. Old household waste dump next to the M40
