That ship in Birkenhead is one of my old ones! I was on RFA Fort Austin and fort Rosalie is it’s sister ship. They are Royal Fleet Auxiliary ship and is there laid up in extended readiness. The RFA are the Royal navies afloat support branch. Those 2 ships carried all the dry stores for the old aircraft carriers. Those were much happier days.
Back in my day the army BFT was 1 1/2 miles squadded (15 mins) then 1 1/2 miles individual effort ( 11.30) So 3 miles in 26:30 . Did you never do something similar ? Brother used to josh me that he had to do the BFT in boots and lightweights. Whilst I had it easy as we had issue trainers that we did the runs in.

The grey ships are in for maintenance. Where you saw the boats is a colourful part of Birkenhead & Bidston. Your satnav didn't half send you in an ant-twacky way. Another way is off at Junc 5 & up the A41 but might use more jungle juice. Bootle too, your really seeing the posh parts of the Wirral & Sefton

There is S & B Herba Foods further down doing the rice if thats Dacsa Mill, then Cargils with the soy bean crush & Volac doing more dairy animal foods. Some days it makes you feel ill especially when the winds blowing up from the treatment works too
Back in the 80s my first year driving i had a run up to Scotland delivered then had to park up in Stirling services 1 bay left what was along side 😁 it ran all bloody night so yes I know just what it's like to sleep next to a fridge

When you start driving hgvs especially if you're trampin. You shouldn't need talk to hardly anyone . Just the office int yard and the security guy at your destination. It's just other drivers back at base who can be right split arses. I used to umm the song ,Backstabbers, If I was ever in the vicinity of a nasty price of work. There's always one. So sod um lad.

Those lines are straight in the docks it must have been a very twisted trailer! Your normal tag axle will turn a lot quicker and have a smaller turning circle but it seems the majority are mid lifts nowadays. I will now have to watch more truckers vlogs as my baby went bang yesterday on the Cat and Fiddle, so without a wagon at present and I will have to get my fix somehow. Worst vlog ever? When it comes to HGV vlogs I'm really fussy I find a lot of vloggers are boring and use a lot of click bait. I only started watching you recently at first wasn't sure but more I watch more I get onto it. I love watching religiously are Ned Kelly Ireland and Stevie Bloke as of find European stuff interesting and they ain't PC. I'm a coach driver at the moment bit hoping on getting my HGV Licence.

Tag axles are a lot more manouverable compared to a mid-lift.
