@@rogerstafford-wakeinc.2088 hi Roger, Äiti is working on a video for you and Ms Jane. She got your candies, been protective of it like a freaking lioness...
Thanks for the ride along brother I took a little one yesterday maybe another little one today been tinkering with the athina I had a question about it couldn't get a answer or opinion from anyone then smolik answered my question my question was all these minarelli engines come with a 10mm spacer and on all 3 of mine 4 if I count the athina that spacer makes you have a 3mm squash and they'll run just not as good so the only guy who would help was 2 stroke and he told me tight squash gets ride of heat and more compression runs better so I sanded it down to a 1 mm squash and that's what you'll hear so I ordered another spacer and some how got 2 a 8mm and a 10mm spacer same thing one was given me a 3mm squash and the other one was given me a 1.2mm squash so I became curious maybe it's sapossod to have a bigger squash so I finally got ahold of Ethan smolik and he said use the 8mm spacer that makes me wonder is that the problem with these engines people sending wrong parts and nobody is checking them makes me wonder thanks again brother
Each Cylinder has a squish rating, Athena is .90 in the instructions for Best Performance, 2 stroke knows his stuff an hes not gonna lie about his info, You need to know rod length when getting a spacer to get as close as you can then you sand it to get the squish where you want it, but yes a lot of people just click on stuff an buy it without doing any research, any they never moc stuff up to see how everything lands, those pre-made kits are the ones with wide squish from China id bet,, they also copy what the see ( Smolik Parts) not understanding whats goin on,,,👽👍🏻
@@Op1zilla yeah I told Gomax what I was trying to do and he's the one that sent me the 10mm and 8mm spacer then I'll have to take a little off the 8mm spacer and should have it. I've done tried different gaskets to get the smoothest transition and was debating with myself on what high compression performance head I'm going to use I have 2 a round and a square one just a little different in the combustion chamber thanks for your input and opinion that's how things get better by sharing information
Nice run I'm looking at 12 step bars and belly pipes and RDM clutch parts 5x sets... Hopefully they ship everything as ordered and don't leave me hanging?
He's been Sick, but you will get your stuff, its worth, sometimes he will toss a brother a few Free parts, he does do that sometimes, dont expect it tho 👽👍🏻
A couple of rides, it doesn't take long, about as long as it takes for the rings to set, Just dont ride it first time, start it let let it warm up to about 160 to 180 degrees an let it cool to outside temp, do this a couple times before riding, this helps everything set up with out alot of stress 👽👍🏻
@@Op1zilla awesome and thanks just did a new 70s Ten speed 80cc build....put the pull start on it and waiting for a new carb the one with the kit is trash 🗑️ but Thanks for the advice 👍

Does the tires rub chain. Are these 2.5 hookworms??? Is this a window piston with reed valve???
Piston Port with a Boost Port, No windows , Skirted Piston, Yes they too thick thats why I have a DTH Maxxis on the backtire its only 2.3 wide 👽👍🏻
How did you get hookworm 2.5 to fit the frame so nicely ??
It's only on front tire, Rear is Maxxis DTH 2.3, I prefer Schwable tires, Best Tire I've been on so far 👽👍
