In your 2014 video you can see the crossing having a signal box that controlled the crossing, until control got passed to Derby. Plus, in the 2014 setup, there were the original barriers from the 1988 installation (with different alarms), but everything got replaced during the resignalling. I guess we don't need a guess as to who those two people making all the videos are...
You've missed the point I was making. Obviously I know all that. There's a video saying "RIP Lowdham LC" which is nonsense. Some viewers reading that this is a "Brand New Crossing" probably believed that when, of course, its been there for 178 years. But headlines like that get more views.
