Great video, make more! We are about to move in to our Safari Cheetah as well!
Thanks for the kind words! We have completely renovated the interior and need to make an update video about it so thanks for the nudge! ☺
Great video! I was able to see the layout and storage capacity in a 5 minute video. Well done!
Thank you!!
Very clean example!
Welcome to the world of owning a Trek, we have a 2002 2830 that we bought in 2016
Beautiful, I want one of these, send it to me here in Brazil.😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Really love this vehicle, they seem so cozy and inviting. The only thing I'me concerned about is that ceiling , or magic bed. Not only because it's one more gadget that will break at some point, but I've heard the things weighs in excess of 400 pounds. Not sure yet, but ultimately it may be a deal breaker.
** The 2480 model does not have this part. 3:37
I really enjoyed that - now I desperately want one! A couple things to make the video better (I think) start with the inside, and I always prefer these kinds of videos without any music. Now, can I have your trek please? I love the color scheme of the furniture, and the fact it has a bigger kitchen. Congrats!
Glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for the feedback! There are Treks out there, just have to search for them! ; )
Awesome!! Thanks for your video, I love the layout
They can sleep underneath it, but they have to crouch to get out to get to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
Someone can sleep on the jackknife sofa with the bed down, but as Stella mentioned, it is a tight squeeze! Would probably work better for kids? The previous owner told us the Trek "Parties 4, sleeps 2." : )
How inconvenient do you find the bed? I would think making it and unmaking it each day would be a drag. Also, I'm concerned about it being just one more thing to break. Is there a weight limit?
We have a system down and are able to smooth out the covers and blankets and get the bed up within a few minutes. Honestly it prevents us from plopping on it and napping during our workdays when we shouldn't so it probably better it is not accessible all day. 😂 The weight limit is 600 lbs. I have the same concern about having more things to break (this is why I am glad it doesn't have any slide outs) but it has been very reliable all around.
Really like it. Beautiful !!
Any issues with the engine thus far ?
We have had to replace the plug wires due to the high temperatures of the exhaust manifold. We also replaced the distributor due to age. We are at over 103,000 miles and adventuring out west. There are times we will drive our tow vehicle separately due to the 8% or higher grade hills in the mountains but overall Big Blue is doing well!
@@24toexplore29 Hello, sorry for not replying sooner. For some reasons I don't get notifications on TH-cam like on Facebook. Anyway, that is nice to hear. I would like one of these or one similar, but a bit on the fence given their age. Thank you for your response .I hope you're having a great time with your vehicle.
As class A motorhomes go, I've always found the 1994-1998 Safari Trek the best looking out there. What sort of engine does this particular Safari have powering it? Gas, or Diesel?
She said it was gasoline and got 10 miles per gallon.
@@MissMarinaCapri Of course! Vortec V8 is a gasoline (petrol) engine.
454 Vortex gasoline engine
Nice. The only thing I wonder about is that bed. What might go wrong with it?
The Safari Trek "magic-bed" runs off of a 120volt electric shutters motor mechanism like what covers the shop windows after closing at a shopping mall.
That RV is in great shape. Was it expensive?
$16,500 in 2020, prices seem to keep climbing as less of them are on the road!
Wasn’t safari motor coach bought beaver then Monaco bought company?
Yep! In 2002, Monaco purchased Safari Motorcoach Corporation (SMC) and Beaver brand names and assets.
I just found one online tonight and Im curious how hard they are to fix? Have you had to have any work done on yours?
It is like an old UPS truck. Just a Chevy 454 v8 gasoline engine.
bellieve you need to lean your camera lens?
Believe you need a lesson ( or a few) on Minnesota nice !!
so how much !!!! and the miles ????? never tell this on these videos
We currently have over 103,000 miles and it is not for sale, this was just an informational video. 🙂
Damn she got a dump truck...nice!
I like your Trek , when are you going to sell it to me and how much are you going to sell it to me for? No seriously I really wanna buy it, but I don’t have very much money.
We love our Trek, too! We completely renovated the interior so it is much more homey vs. the original look in the video! We do not plan on selling any time soon. 😉
