I hear that "Am7+5" more like F(add9)/A, sounding like it could go to Bb next (which it doesn't do). Like if you move the exact same chord voicing down three semitones, it would be D(add9)/F# working as a dominant heading back home to Gm. Maybe that's because I tend to hear potential five-one motions everywhere. :)
