In my opinion, this was worth the £8.75 that I paid for it. 60 FPS on either of the performance modes definitely makes a noticeable difference over last gen, and the load times are incredible for GTA V. The new content for GTA Online is decent, though not life-changing. I feel like the Dualsense controller's haptic feedback and adaptive Triggers are nice additions, though not worth too much money. Overall, I'd recommend it, but only if you care about graphics.

i played this on ps3 a very long tome ago, recently got a ps5 so paying 20€ to replay the story sounds like value, i have no interest in the online cuz fk mtx.
I don't think I could bring myself to play Gta5 again. I bought the ps3 and ps4 version and played the single player about 4 times through. I'm done it this series until there's a new entry.
Well if nothing else, I'm at least glad Rockstar stated that development on GTA6 was "well under way" supposedly. I imagine they got next gen dev kits pretty early on, and I'm excited to see what lessons Rockstar carries over from rendering in RDR2, especially given that GTA6 will have been built from the ground up as a PS5/Series X title
the $20 price tag for an upgrade to a near 10 year old game that lives on microtransactions is just pure greed. they still haven't even improved to movement controls to something less clunky and cumbersome. the fact that they still can't get RT, 4K, and 60fps all at the same time like some newer games that offer their upgrades for free just makes me further say fuck this.
How come they never added a bunch of single player story updates that would have been nice? I think they rather milk the multiplayer to get as much money as they can.
I would like to think they got only like a small portion of the studio working for GTAO and anyone else who wants to make singleplayer content probably working on GTA 6 (ofc the reason why i say a small portion of the studio for online is because the dlcs always have tons of bugs and glitches)
I just got a PS5, and picked GTA up. And I’m loving it. Looks great, my only beef is I like to steer with the Dpad and you can’t on this version. But I love that there are sports and super cars spawning every where. No more trying to escape from the fuzz in a shit Futo.

I played the online for awhile but bored of it. Singleplayer is where most of my fun comes from because of mods on the PC. similar to RDR2, I use mods to unlock almost all the items in that game.
Yep after buying almost all the important guns, property and vehicles and dealing with players leaving important missions causing it to fail.... It becomes boring.

This. I have it on ps3/4. I stopped playing years ago, but I finally got a ps5 from Sony direct after 1.4 years of trying, and don't have any ps5 games outside of ps4 upgrades and cross Gen games. This really does look and play great. The rumble and resistance on the triggers is amazing. You feel every bump, triggers for guns feel different, a shotgun feels different from a pistol to a AR, etc.. It's amazing along with the 60fps /ray tracing and 3d audio. For $9 I said why not and glad I did. I have downloaded the pc version and play on a 3060ti which is the same strength as a ps5, but I think it plays better on a TV and with the new controller. No clue what Xbox has but it doesn't have the cool controls and haptic rumble.

A lot of previous owners of GTA 5 are pretty pissed off about this release. But then there’s people like me that never played it before and now because of the PS5 upgrade finally took the plunge, I feel like the release was more for people like me than those that already own the game. Like it wasn’t for y’all, it was for people like me and most of us like what we got and that’s what matters.
One knock about this remaster is I like to play on-foot in first person view but I also like to see my character in third-person when taking cover like in the Rainbow Six Vegas games. They had that feature in the last gen PS4 version but they removed it for some reason from this new version.
Then u should be in a major hurry to play it if u never played it.Its life altering ,that's how good it was .I stopped playing games for like 13 years,last game I played n was into was Halo 1.i started playing games again in 2018,n the first games I played were star wars battlefront 2 n GTA 5...I was stunned n happy as 💩

I'm curious as to why Skyrim, which was just released for the 100th time for new gen didn't get all the hate thrown its way that this is getting. I've been burned out on GTA for years, they need to do sumpim different with the overall tone of the game, but I'm sure GTA 6 will be a masterpiece regardless, I just hope it's a lot different than previous titles, I really appreciated the serious tone of the Red Dead games.

Although I just ordered GTA V on PS5 this week, still more impressed these days by the PS5 upgrade on Cyberpunk 2077, which I just finished. Open world and great visuals and intriguing story. Although Projekt Red had difficulty, their ambitious IP makes me really happy these days.
I'm gonna redo all single player trophies again for a 3rd time because I truly love the single player of GTA games... The online trophies I auto popped them all I ain't got patience to do all that shit again. (I only paid the 9.99€ upgrade, I think that price is more than fair)

All the older GTA games should've had a remake to be more Modern like GTA V
They tweaked the controls of the old ones with updated gta v mechanics to those games on the gta trilogy

I've been burned out on GTA for years, they need to do sumpim different with the overall tone of the game, but I'm sure GTA 6 will be a masterpiece regardless, I just hope it's a lot different than previous titles, I really appreciated the serious tone of the Red Dead games.

If people would've stopped playing GTA V on PS4 and Xbox One we would've had GTA 6 now. But that damnable online componenet is what screwed everything up.
Although I just ordered GTA V on PS5 this week, still more impressed these days by the PS5 upgrade on Cyberpunk 2077, which I just finished. Open world and great visuals and intriguing story. Although Projekt Red had difficulty, their ambitious IP makes me really happy these days.

i don't like how they are giving new players free stuff but it does help them to earn money easier i guess, also since gta 5 took 3 years to develop gta 5 remastered online may get a few updates, i normally wouldn't waste my money unless rockstar gave me a reason but im forced to because of a friend i help with recording

A bit of constructive criticism. The cuts of video with audio last a little to long, like say instead of making them last like 10 seconds, I’d say keep them with audio for maybe 3-4

Maybe i am wrong , but i play on performance mode and the graphics looks more sharp and crispie...i dont regret buying it, but it ain't impressive
but at the same time, once gta 6 does come out we will get bored of it after a week or so (or once you finish the story) their are some people who buy it once it releases, which makes it worse because online won’t be there. gta 6 will be the same thing.
