    Newbie here - found you by looking for information on the ChintoChest Red Light Device. Great tips. I too am terrible about spraying my perfume on my neck. The idea of spraying on the shoulders is great. Thanks for sharing. Blessings to you from Texas.

      Welcome! So happy you found me!
      It must be just a lifetime of spraying my neck with perfume everyday, that I STILL struggle to not do this! Lol! But I am trying!!
      Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment. I really appreciate it!

    I stopped wearing perfume on my neck when I started suffering with rashes and my neck was always itchy. I would love to be able to sleep on my back. I can see the side I sleep on the wrinkles being more edge in. Not good. Great video!!

      I also wish I could sleep on my back, because I’ve got more wrinkles on the side I sleep on too! But it’s so hard for me to do that and I figure it’s more important to at get sleep anyway you can!

    Hi Tina, All great points! I'm trying to drink more water and to use lip oil more frequently. Many evenings I get tired and forget to use my hand cream and lip treatment before I go to bed. We're moving into that time of year for us to moisturize our skin. Have a great week!

    What excellent advice, Tina! Having hand cream around the house is something I really need to do - I can't imagine your hands would look like the crypt keeper 😱 - and thank you so much for the mention "down below" ❤

    Thankfully I don’t do any of these. I stopped using straws a long time ago for lip line prevention. The only one I tend to forget about is lotion on my hands on a regular basis. I need to get better at that. Thanks for sharing Tina ❤️

    Love the tips- I gave up straws years ago and when I told my 30ish daughter why she rolled her eyes - she’ll see! I use a sunscreen moisturizer but if it gets near my eyes I’m rubbing them all day. Have to be careful. For the eyeliner, I usually use a plum thin line about 1/2 - 3/4ths on the lower lid. With my big eyes, they just don’t stand out without it, but I never did black all the way to the corner. I don’t seem me without it! The perfume was something I never thought about so changing that now! Thanks!

      @tinasbestmidlife  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi there! It's understandable your daughter rolled her eyes. We never think getting old is going to happen to us!! Lol!
      Oh my gosh! Can I relate to sunscreen/lotion irritating the eyes! I swear I have the most sensitive eyes which is why I buy my facial sunscreen in bulk! Lol!
      The plum liner sounds very pretty!!

    Well that was an eye opener
    I haven't used eyeliner for years
    And don't miss it at all
    Also I have stopped wearing foundation
    I use spf 5o every day and after watching this realised
    I am not using enough sunscreen.
    I hardly ever use hand cream
    Well that will have to change
    Very helpful information 😊

    Perfume is applied where you can feel the pulse, i.e. wrist, under the ears and also opposite the knee. I learned this from French women.

    @salliestephens1252 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Great tips Tina! Guilty of the perfume on the neck (although I've switched to the back of my neck fairly recently). I remember wearing BLUE eyeliner in my lower lash waterline- oy -- and now I use brown on my upper waterline. Much better! I've tried, to no avail, to tell my sister and my friends that their foundation with sunscreen is not enough. They often comment how my skin looks so good...hmmm, I wonder why? 😂

    • @tinasbestmidlife
      @tinasbestmidlife  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Sallie! I follow over on tik Tok women our age who say they will "die on a hill" before stopping the black eyeliner on the bottom! I remember thinking I wouldn't look good without it on the bottom lash line and then when I did this comparison, I was shocked! I think it was Betty who mentioned "Rocky Horror Picture Show" and I cracked up because I looked like I belonged in that movie! Lol!
      I think those of us who watch TH-cam know how much sunscreen we need to apply, but just the other day a friend of mine was talking about how she loved her makeup because she didn't have to wear sunscreen! So sadly, I think a lot of people are missing out on the easiest anti-aging thing we can do.
      Hope you are having a great weekend my sweet friend! Take care!❤️

    • @tinasbestmidlife
      @tinasbestmidlife  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi JoAnn! You made me giggle! I have to tell you that I thought the same thing when I saw the recommendation to stop wearing it on the bottom lash line! We get so used to seeing ourselves in a certain way. I have seen many beauty creators suggest brown or a lighter grey eyeliner to try instead of the black. I wonder if you would like either of those? And honestly, no rule works for every person, so you probably look very pretty with your eyes lined like that!
      Thank you so much for watching and leaving me a comment that made me smile! Hope you have a great day!

    OMG. My response is gone, again! Ugh.. Let's see if I can remember what I said. My mom stopped me ftom using straws when I was a teen. She told me I would get wrinkles. A woman ahead of her time.
    SPF stand alone even if a foundation contains it. I used to tan as a teen with baby oil! Now, why didn't my mom tell me about that!
    I think dark liner under the eyes no matter what your age is looks harsh! I used it on top of my lid, but eventually switched over to brown. I don't line my undereyes at all.
    Thank you for the suggestion about the perfume. I'll have to break that habit of spraying my neck.
    Great advice, sweet Tina. Oh. The foundation. I definitely aim for a satin finish.
    Big hugs. I can't understand why my replies don't stay. Ugh. ❤❤

      Ok, so hearing your Mom(smart lady!) stopped you from drinking through a straw in your teens and your Retin A use for years explains why you don't have a wrinkle on your face with such beautiful skin!!! I should have had a picture of you for the video on the straw segment for inspiration for everyone!

I haven’t gotten into the Stanley cup craze, but do drink out of a yeti without a straw thankfully 😉🙃 let’s just talk about my hands and arms that are sun damaged and now have age spots, I too am 56 but my arms look like 80+ 😭😭😭 I’ve tried so many things like lotion and red light therapy, nothing helps so unfortunately I just have to accept my mistakes from my younger tanning days😝 baby oil and water and fry in the sun🌞🤨😭 oh well guess I will age gracefully at this point🥺 have a great week friend🥰

    Remember to still get some sunlight without sunscreen, 10 to 40 minutes a day, we need Vitamin D as auto immune diseases are skyrocketing and they are showing this is a reason why. Auto immunity and lack of Vitamin D go hand in hand.
